I have bought these for years and always been pleased. However, the sizing seems to be slightly smaller than it used to, as they seem tighter than my others (I've always been a size 5, and I'm actually at a lower weight now than a few years ago). They are still good panties, but I think both size and quality could use a little work.
I've worn Hanes Brand panties since I was a teenager. I'm 60, now. I always stayed with Hanes because they were well made and I knew I could purchase the same size in any style and they would fit. I can no longer say that. I've found that not only does each style run different in sizing, but panties within the same package are different! When panties from the same package are compared to each other there may be anywhere from half an inch to one and a quarter inch difference in their waist size! I've also found that the quality is no longer as good. Hanes panties used to last for years. Now you're lucky to get one, maybe two years from a pair. I will say that the bra I purchased fits ok and, at least for now, it appears to be well made. I hate how much Hanes Brand products have changed. The quality of the product is no longer there. Sorry, but you asked.
I bought a bunch of these panties a few years ago and really liked them. I ordered more recently and was disappointed. The quality has really gone down. The material feels like thin cardboard, and they shrunk at least a full size when I washed them in the delicate cycle. I'd be more than happy to extra for the quality of a couple of years ago.
This product has changed for the worse. The waist band is uncovered elastic, and the fit has changed (not in a good way). There were no subtle colors in the package I received. It was all bright, loud colors and bold patterns - not the best for underwear that might show through lighter clothing. These used to be my favorite panties. I'm not going to buy them again!
So disappointed! I have purchased these panties many times over the years & tried again on at least two occasions this past year. These recent orders just lack the quality I have come to expect! They are flimsy and lose elasticity around the leg. As a result, they ride up & are very uncomfortable. Sorry to say I had to throw them away. I've given up & won't order them again.
I've been wearing Hanes underwear for years. They have changed the way they are made. The cotton mid rise briefs feel cheaply made and the waist band is uncomfortable. It pains me to write this negative review because I have been a loyal customer of Hanes for years.
No-not the ones. I have been searching for the low-rise briefs that do not write up that used to come and a four pack and it was black, white and nude color. They guaranteed a no ride up no wedgie save around the back side and that was all true! They were cotton they were comfortable they sit just below the waist. I have not been able to find them these are not them I've looked from high and low. The waistband was enclosed in Fabric and not just the Itchy elastic waistband. I need those back in my life. These are the worst oh, these feel like granny panties all over again
I have bought the same underwear for years, Hanes Cotton Stretch Women's Low Rise Briefs with ComfortSoft Waistband. I love them, I tell others, I have been a repeat customer for at least 8 years. Now in the last year I have tried to buy more, I have gone to 3 different stores in case I just got cheap ones once but no... they are ALL BAD. What have you done Hanes?? The fit in the butt under your cheeks is all wrong, they totally ride up and don't cover like the old ones. The waist band doesn't stretch, it just breaks the thread and shreds from there - see attached photo.
These say they have a 2 layer cotton liner, they do not. The material is much thinner than in previous years. I don't understand why any underwear company would not put in a comfort liner over the stitching in the crotch. I searched every style of Hanes in retail stores as well and none of them had the extra lining piece. Needless to say i switched brands.
These were terrible quality and extremely uncomfortable, I cannot wear them. The seams on the sides are huge and dig into the hips.
