My husband needed something to wear under an ankle brace and these are perfect. The lining is terry-like and very absorbent. They launder without shrinking or pilling & remain comfortable.
These socks are comfortable and keep feet dry. Fit size 13 foot with plenty of room to keep the heel and ball of foot from wearing out due to overstretching because of smallness. A 6 pack lasts about 1 year worn every single day and washed every single day. I buy 2 packs at a time. Worn out socks become rags...and good ones too!
Being that I'm a mailman and I burn through socks pretty quickly, I'm always on the lookout for cushy but not weighty socks. I was hesitant to buy these sight unseen, but I am glad I did buy these. The grey area of the socks are a bit thicker and have a little more cushion than standard socks so I'm pretty happy with that aspect. The ankle area is pretty fair and a bit thicker than other socks I've purchased. Hopefully they last because nobody likes having blowouts or quitters on the ankles. I've put them through a work week and a washing and so far have held up well.
I have two problems. I live in a small town and I have large feet. Finding socks that fit locally has always been a problem. I ordered 2 packages of Hanes Men's Big & Tall Cushion Ankle Socks 6-Packs from Hanes and got socks that have a good fit and feel and at a better price then I had been paying locally for socks that didn't fit.well. When the time come, I will be back for more.
I have large feet (Size 12) and have a hard time finding comfortable socks in the normal 10-13 range. Those are just too tight. Finally found these online, and they fit great. Haven't tried to wash yet, so hopefully don't shrink much, but very happy with them so far. Just with I could find them in the the stores!!
These socks fit good, but they were advertised as big and tall CUSHIONED socks and they're not. They are very thin and not very cushioned. I will buy from my local store where I can feel the socks first from now on,
Have purchased socks from this site previously and have enjoyed them considerably. This new purchase of socks are VERY THIN and don't think they will last through many washings....
Decent quality BUT---I purchased size 10-13 socks since I have a 12.5 shoe. Turns out the socks are made for shoe size 6-10 per Hanes chart which I did not notice first. Beware!
The description said 'extra cushion'. I own socks that I've worn for years-some Hanes, some other brands. Most of them still have more cushion than these brand new ones.
I purchased the ankle cushion sock and wish I had my money back. What I received was a thin little ankle sock. Suppose to be a 12-14 shoe size. I've tried several times to purchase the cushion sock, but end up with this thin tube and is not what is advertised
