I bought several bras a few months ago and I love them. The straps felt too stiff at first, but after a few washings, they are awesome and will hold up over time. I just bought a several more.
I was searching for a reasonably priced bra, without underwire, seemingly in vain, until I stumbled upon this Hanes bra at my local store. Well, I tried on a 36B, my usual size, the cup size and coverage was perfect, unfortunately, it was too tight around my ribcage. I check two stores - no 38B, so order online. Upside: Fits great, it's comfortable, lightweight and cooler than my padded bras in the triple digit temperatures. It also line dries faster than my other bras. Downside: Okay, it's ultra plain, no lace or pattern to the fabric probably designed by a nun. I hand wash and line dry my bras, just hope this bra survives five to ten years, like the one it replaced.
This bra has ALL the features I want--a lightly padded cup, no underwire and strap adjustment in the back for a smooth appearance in the front. I've had a hard time finding all those things in a bra until I found this. I finally have reached the stage in my life when I need just a little more "lift" and this does it, without being stiff or artificial-looking.
I got this in my actual size, but had to return it and re-order one size larger. After that, the bra fit perfectly. It's very comfortable. I can wear it all day, and even forget I have it on. It provides just the right amount of coverage where I need it the most. I only wish they came in a darker shade of brown and was still available in stores.
Today I ordered four of theses bras. I've been wearing this style for several years now. They are so confortable (thanks for a great "wireless" bra) and they fit me perfectly. I do have two complaints however. Please Hanes, put better straps on these bras. After a few months they are covered with little pills and they become rough and unattractive (see picture). We live at a time when it's okay for bra straps to show but not these bra straps after a few months, in my opinion anyway. And also, why haven't I been able to find my size in black or nude? I'm a 38D and can only find these in white! Regardless of my complaints, I do love this comfy bra.
I prefer the underwire version of this bra, but perhaps it is discontinued because it was not available. I'm not very happy with the wireless version. Doesn't feel like as much support. I will not purchase again.
I have worn Hanes Concealing petals underwire bras for quite some time. To my dissapointment seems the underwire is no longer available. I purchased the wire free and did not like. Found that the bottom tends to roll up,does not stay flat. (material under cup) I am not returning for it has been washed. It has good quality,the minor amount of padding is not stiff,matter of fact gives bust a nice rounded look. Looks great under any type of material. Hanes bras or any other will last if washed by hand,towel roll gently to remove excess moisture and hang to dry. I do this with all my bras especially the underwire ones,no more wire breakage. Has adjustable straps and three row back hooks. Very nice quality bra. Hanes/Walmart please bring back the UNDERWIRE concealing petals bras. They last with proper care and I have several. Also offer larger band sizes in this bra wheather be wire free or underwire. And more colors as well---Thanks:)
I have purchased these bras many, many times before. The last time I ordered these bras the material around the bra is very uncomfortable and they are to small. NO, I did not gain weight. I am very disappointed. I would have returned them, but I washed them before I tried them on.....never had a problem before!
I really wanted to love these bras because of they're wirefree. But they're much tighter all around than my other 36C bras. Even adjusting straps doesn't help, they're always ill fitting. They're going to be donated to Free The Girls, an organization that donates bras to victims of trafficking so they can sell them and earn a living.
I have several of these bras, all the same size. I took the tags off and washed without trying on because I ordered the same size in the same bra I already have so can't return them. These are extremely tight, not sure if they're mislabeled or they used a different manufacturer but it's just money down the drain. Went to the local store and bought the same bras, same size and they fit perfect so not sure what's up with that.
