I got this lip balm a few days ago and it's the best lip balm ever. The balm is not sticky and feels like a balm should, the best part is it looks like a lip gloss!!!
Out of all the lip balms that I've tried lately, I find this particular one to be the best. The formula is moisturizing. In fact, I had run out of "regular" lip balm to use at night and had no choice but to use this one and my lips were back to normal the next morning! My only qualms with this product are that it doesn't twist all the way back into the tube. The product design is slightly cumbersome, as I'm always worried that I'm going to cut the whole top off when replacing the cap. My other issue is the lack of color variety. Otherwise, I love how this balm moisturizes. It doesn't leave an overly sticky/ heavy residue and the color saturation for Miss Independent is remarkable. It leaves lips moisturized with just a hint of color tint. No need to blot. I hope this product stays around- great value and overall wonderful lip balm. Just please come out with different colors!
Finally!!! a glossy tinted lip balm!! I have spent so much money trying to find a glossy tinted lip balm and nothing delivered. This does! I like that its in stick form so its not messy and easy to apply, yet it delivers just enough gloss and color! Best part yet, its only $3! Nice color choices too, and it tastes and smells pretty good! (far better than some other more expensive ones i've tried!)
This lip balm is a nice slightly tinted lip balm (only THIS shade has the most noticeable tint to it - the lighter shades are virtually nonexistent in color). It's definitely not a lipstick pigment with this color of red, nor is it meant to be - it's just a slightly tinted lip balm with a very wearable light tint of reddish pink. The scent is pleasant - vanillaish and not at all chemical or unpleasant. The formula is very moisturizing. I just use this as an easy go to lip balm for simple everyday use, throw it in my bag, pocket, around the house, etc - it's more moisturizing than most lip balms, with the added benefit of a slight pretty tinted color. The packaging is cute too for a lip balm you can't go wrong.
Love the smoothness! I'd die without lip balm, and this is the best I've tried so far. Some of the new balms only moisturize lightly on the surface. This balm lasts longer and moisturizes better. I got the clear, next I will be trying different colors.
This tinted lip moisturizer is super cute on my lips. It isn't lipstick so of course it isn't the exact color as it looks when you apply it. It is moisturizing, and gives that slight tint of reddish coral color. It also gives a slight gloss finish. Doesn't go on heavy like lipstick, which is a plus for me. I enjoy having a hint of color on my lips with the added moisture. Highly recommended for quality and price paid =)
I was hoping for a glossy light red and I think I got it. Like the previous reviewer stated it's not a red-red, but a pink-red. I really like the flavor and scent of it, it's like vanilla icing, or sugar cookies! I have to reapply it alot throughout the day, but I don't mind doing that.
The product is exactly what it says it is. It's a great tinted lip balm. The color is very faint, but it's pretty. I do wish it stuck a little bit longer. I have to re-apply it a couple times a day to keep my lips moisturized and full of color. All in all it is great though, and I would probably recommend it to a friend.
It wasn't spectacular, but I did like it a bit and continue to use it. It puts a nice peachy-coral color on my lips, though I do have to reapply every once in a while. It's also a bit drying. I don't think I would purchase it again only because my lips are very susceptible to chapping.
I bought this hoping to find a replacement for my Fresh Sugar rose tinted lip balm, which has the perfect amount of color but is super expensive and very delicate. This balm smells amazing and has awesome texture but the color is lacking and that is the whole reason I bought it.. I got vampire bite thinking since it was so pigmented that even if it went on light the color would end up being perfect, unfortunately I was wrong, it goes on too light for my naturally red lips. I still like it and I am going to try it again when my lips are a bit pale but I know from this shade that none of the other shades will show up on me so i won't bother buying them. I do love the scent though, it is super yummy and the texture is great, smooth and silky. The only other issue I have it how high the product sticks up, I thought I'd be able to twist it down after I bought it but you cant so what you see is what you get, there is a lot of product which is great but I just know I'm going to hit it with the top and break it or smoosh it all over and lose half the stick and make a mess, bearing that in mind I will have to be very careful about recapping it. I would feel a lot better if I could twist it down father..... which is why I gave it a three star rating other wise it would be a 4.
