Me and my 3 kids had so much fun making the candy. it tastes delicious and the kids really enjoy it. Really great price.
I bought this toy for my 3 nieces and we had a great candy jewelry making party. The candys and sprinkles melt in the molds and then you can string them. We used dental floss when we ran out if the candy string. I would recommend this toy for any birthday party activity.
I got this for my daughter for christmas and she just loves it. All three of the kids ages 5,7, and 9 made stuff yesterday. It was easy to do and it must have tasted o.k because they ate it.
My daughter enjoyed getting this for her christmas gift. She was thrilled and the candy factory worked great. This is a great and fun product for almost any age.
This candy shop has been advertised al over tv and my daughter had to have it. It was a reasonable price and we have both enjoyed making the edible sweets together!
My daughter received this for Christmas last year. It takes a very specific light bulb which is not included and was somewhat difficult to find. After finally finding one, she excitedly began making candy. The 2 molds only make a total of 7 candies and each mold has to be baked separately. By the time you fill the molds and the oven goes through it's bake and cooling cycle about an hour has passed and you only have 3 or 4 candies. Sometimes, the candy doesn't melt thoroughly and it needs to bake a second time. I like that the oven door locks shut when the oven is on and will not open until the cooling period is completed. My daughter enjoys the Candy Jewel Factory and likes creating her own candy. The downside is that it's very time consuming to get just a few pieces of candy and she often gets bored or distracted while waiting. Make sure you can find a 40 watt small base candelabra blunt tip light bulb to go with it before you begin.
My daughter received this as a gift and she loves it. It is very easy to use. It takes about 45 minutes total to make, bake and eat. I don't know if it was a mistake or not, but I didn't receive a light bulb with the maker which is a required item to bake the candy. There are many ways to make your candy items, necklace, bracelets, rings, etc. I would buy this product as a gift.
This was tops on my daughters list for her birthday/ Christmas. She received it for her birthday. Came with two tiny trays, but did not come with the light bulb needed, so we couldn't start until we ran out to the store to get the specific bulb. She thoroughly enjoyed making her candy jewels. After they baked, one was cracked, and I tried one half of it. Didn't taste bad. (I was thrilled, and relieved, to see that the candy was made in USA!!) She loved it... Disappointed though with the price of the additional refill packs. Quite pricey...we'll try to stretch the candy that came with the product as long as we can!
My 10 year old daughter enjoyed this product. The main complaint she had with it was that the cooking time was very slow. She was not able to make all the jelwery they showed on the box. There is some extra kits you can buy for it to make the different things. I will be buying the other kits for her, it seems to help teach her patience.
The door on this product will not open. We had to take it apart and release the latch each time to open i. Also the candy did not melt after three settings.
