i have purchased 2 other stap le guns that cost alot more than this one but this one works better than both of the ot her 2
The HART Heavy Duty Stapler is versatile and easy to use. Loading staples is trouble-free and it's compact size makes it fit into difficult spaces. It doesn't require a great deal of strength to use the squeeze trigger but is powerful enough to force the staple right where you need it.
I got this for my husband to replace his old Stanley stapler. Right from the start, he said it is easier to load the staples. I have included a picture with 2 staples in a board. The left is from the Hart stapler and the right is from his old one. As you can see, the Hart has much better penetration. A good buy, he's very happy with it.
I'm a crafter and my big crafting projects involve taking old chairs and reupholstering chair fabrics. What is necessary is a good quality stapler. One that is easy to use, sturdy and manageable. Sometimes staplers can be cumbersome especially for tiny hands. You want something that has the strength to staple through wood and fabric but is workable. The Hart heavy duty stapler was manageable yet strong enough to do the job. Staplers were standard sized and easy to find locally. I was able to use the stapler without much effort. The result are beautiful chairs on the first attempt. (Uses T50 staples)
I recently used the HART heavy duty stapler on an upholstery project and was overall impressed. The handle was easy to squeeze and my hand didn't feel like it had been through a marathon by the end of my project. The staples were flush and ejected with no issue. I had one jam in the beginning and none thereafter. It was easy to load from the bottom and holds a variety of staple sizes with a window on the side to identify when the gun is empty. Another positive feature is the little flip up metal latch that locks the stapler. While I wish the locking system was a little stiffer, it gets the job done. Also note that this gun does not come with staples, so make sure you buy them separately or purchase the kit.
This Hart stapler is heavy duty. It's not quite as heavy duty as my 15 year old stapler was, but still durable. It is easy to squeeze and works well on cardboard and plywood. It uses heavy duty staples and they are easy to load. It would be helpful it they included staples.
I recently used this stapler to fix a whole in the wall. It staples flush to the wall with little effort. I'm bummed out that it didn't come will a supply of staples though. It's a nice metal construction and heavy duty. The staples are easy to install and remove. It will fit well in your tool box and it's good for DIY projects.
My electric staple gun was tearing the pretty but cheap fabric I wanted to use on the kitchen chest (pic attached). The Hart heavy duty was just right, easy for my husband's strong hands and gentle on the fabric. My hands are not very strong and usually cannot use anything but electric staplers, I was surprised that I could work the Hart even if it did take me 2 hands to punch through wood, usually I can't get staplers to work at all. I like the little metal flip up safety lock, it is simple but works. Stapler would get 5 stars if it had some staples enclosed, I had to run to the store for staples before using it.
I got this to begin re-covering my kitchen chair seats. I bought these chairs from a thrift shop last summer & I have been wanting to re-cover them for awhile now. The stapler doesn't come with staples to my surprise so be sure to grab some if you are like me & eager to do a project as soon as you can. This stapler does take multiple types so that was cool. Easy to use. Does take a bit of muscle to get started but once you find the pressure its not so bad. I wouldn't recommend to someone with carpal tunnel or arthritis. Fits nicely in your hand. Easier to squeeze then others I've used in the past. It is very good for its size & price. Only negative is not coming with at least a small pack of staples.
It arrived today. I have a box of 3/8" staples but they won't go into the magazine. And the magazine has no spring. Is it supposed too? Weird staple gun. Never used one that didn't have a spring. Is it a wind-up?
