I ordered the Hartz Joint care for my cat because the local Walmart stopped carrying it and my poor baby was really suffering. It really makes a difference and helps him with his joint problem. He has days like I do that it is hard to do things and we take it easy but he had gotten where he couldn't get up and down off the bed or to look outside. He was in so much pain and so stiff. This product is really good and he loves the taste. He acts like they are snacks. And the cost is low which helps so much since I'm on a low income. I was so thankful I was able to order it and continue getting it.
The first good thing about this product is the fact that the cat will consume it, pretty much willingly. We've tried other over-the-counter joint remedies, and prescription meds from the vet, but the cat will not eat any of them. This one she likes, plus, it actually works. She's not 100% free of pain, but gets around much easier, jumps more, and plays a lot more. It's not an easy to find product, but luckily Walmart has it on line.
We give Hartz Joint Care to our very old cat daily and it allows him to jump and play like a young cat. The days that we miss a dose, He slows down and acts old and in pain.
Appears to be easy to chew and the kitties like the taste of it. I do break it in half as it is a bit large. :)
What were they thinking with these humongous pills? These are far too huge for any cat, in fact I'm sure I'd have trouble swallowing a pill this large myself. They are also pretty hard, not easy for an older cat to chew. I don't know what he doesn't like about the flavor either but my cat doesn't eat them willingly, not even when ground to a powder and mixed with his food or cheese.
