The foggers did the job!! My dog was really itching and miserable. Great prodcuuct for the price.
This is a great product. Biggest lesson is to be sure to vacuum, vacuum, vacuum after applications. If you can, do it up to three times a day, but at least once a day. Keep your babies safe by removing them from the home for the time it says, and make sure you are treating them as well. Hartz has always had great products, and they save me money over always going to the vet for equivalent treatments. My boys have collars on almost year round. They are indoor kitties, but occasionally one will sneak out and that is all it takes to start the whole process again. Pest Control guys will bomb and still tell you that it will take repeated applications and to just keep everything as clean as possible. We even bombed our concrete basement that was empty, because that seemed to be a huge source of the problem (cracks in the walls and leaky, old windows at ground level).
I used this in the house (1250 SF) 3 years ago, after 2 applications, there has not been a problem in all this time. I use it every 3-6 months on our closed in screened porch. Every so often the fleas get inside there and the fogger takes care of it. They never make it inside the house.
If you have an infestation, always bomb every 2 weeks for at least 3 treatments to kill the hatching fleas. Remember, nothing gets them when they are in the pupae stage so you have to keep retreating to get them once they hatch or they will just keep hatching and growing and breeding etc. etc.
Works best when you clean your house BEFORE you bomb it. Treat your dogs/cats BEFORE you bomb. Wipe surfaces down with Clorox bleach or even dollar store mean green works really well. Then bomb and vacuum. For treating pets I recommend the tablet, then advantage 2. The tablet kills ALL fleas, ticks, eggs that's on your animal after 4 hours of ingesting it then protects them from reinfestation for 24hours. After that 24 hours treat them with the advantage. When I vacuum I cut up a cat collar and drop it in my vacuum just to make sure if I suck up live ones, they'll die. Takes a lot of work to gey rid of fleas. They're resilient devils.
Our house recently became infested with fleas about a week ago. We have tried just about every method known to mankind to get rid of these little monsters. Out of them methods we fogged/bombed our house 2 times, using 6 cans in all of this stuff...and there is till fleas in the house. Not sure what else to do at this point.
A flea just jumped on me as I'm writing this. Cleaned my apt and cat before using..with no change. Hope this is helpful.
If you want to keep your fleas alive but kill a few random flies, then this product is for you. If you're like me and bought this to kill fleas, you're wasting your money. The only thing this product has going for it is that there is not an overpowering chemical odor after use but your fleas will laugh at your feeble attempt to eliminate them. Seriously, do what I should've done, spend a little extra and get the Raid foggers. Purple box. You'll thank me.
I used this in combination with the Adams flea drops and one week later, I am having to re-bomb. This time, not with this junk! :( Very disappointed!
Went through the hassles of covering up items, removing items, staying away for a few hours. I didn't have a bad infestation, but this product didn't work at all.
