Great! Tastes great and only 10 calories per 1 Tbsp, sure beats 90 calories for 1 Tbsp like my old mayo. I can enjoy my chicken salad again! Love It!!!
Low Fat with the bright green lid. I have never seen Hellmann's Low Fat Mayonnaise in a small jar but, we use a lot of it since it has 15 calories! The taste is great and we cannot tell the difference. I have tried all brands, all types and if it tastes different from regular Hellmann's I would not use it. I normally do not like the low fat taste but, this is excellent, no difference in taste!. In addition, Walmart is the only store I know that carries it. I count every calorie but would not sacrifice taste for calories. Everyone has different taste and many that I have prepared food for like it better. I do not know about it being new because I have used it for years. I have been spreading the word about Hellmann's every since I started using it with finicky eaters who believe they will not like low fat; however, we were all surprised and are grateful for the opportunity to use it more frequently on many dishes!
I would like to thank Hellmans for having a low fat mayo for those of us that are not able to eat the fats and for also having a product that was good. My family and I have been having a hard time finding a mayo that is low in fat and calories, so when we found Hellmans Lowfat, we were excited. We have medical conditions in the family and this product was a blessing to find. We have cooked and made salads with this product and very much enjoyed it. We are sad that we can no longer find the product. This product had a great texture, was not runny, and had a great taste. This product was also very low in calories which was another great thing! If at all possible, please bring this product back! Thank you!
This product is getting almost impossible to find and is far superior nutritionally to what is on the grocery store shelf. I was thrilled to be able to get it from Jet.com!
This product is outstandingly excellent. I am particular about low fat and fat free items, but this over the top in quality. I use it in place of mayo the n all my foods and recipes. The calorie difference is excellent as well and the taste is better than even hoped for in a low/no fat product especially without added sugar. Excellent product!
It doesn't have the zing the full fat version does, but it still holds its own with good flavor and for the lowest calorie count per Tbsp I've ever seen in a mayo. This one is definitely my preferred, even over the light version.
Not as great as the real stuff but the husband is happy to have it on his low fat diet. I use it in tuna salad and stuff but I use a little of this mayo with some no fat Italian dressing and it works great! Even licked my finger by mistake once and was surprised it was good.
It's great it's only 15 calories per serving, but it could never taste like regular Hellman's. It's good on a sandwich, but tastes bad in a macaroni salad.
Hi there, was hoping for a great alternative to full fat one but although i never do this throw the half used pot out. Did not like the texture at all. Taste is similar but felt strange. I was out for lunch and mentioned this and my friend said she had done exactly the same - both of us throw it out before end of use and both never done it before. I promised her i would leave review - again not something i do normally. But i hate waste so... hence this review. Hope you find a way to make a low cal version in the future ... as i do like the full version. And that is what i will be buying again - just not use as much will do the same for the diet, but without the strange texture and waste.
I love Hellman's and I always buy light mayo, but this time I thought give this one a try. This is nothing like the light, it tastes horrible, is kind of sticky and the texture is very weird. Once I saw that, I started looking at the ingredients... why they added High Fructose Corn Syrup??? this ingredient leads to obesity and diabetes and GI issues in the long term (which is ridiculous, because if you buy this product is because you either are trying to look for a healthier option or to lose weight). Won't buy this ever again. I prefer 20 more calories every tbsp (compared with light) than this...
