These 12 paints have a nice color selection. With just the 3 primary colors and black and white you could make whatever color you need, but not everyone wants to do that and this set includes many of the colors that you would want for flowers, landscapes or portraits. Tan, a sort of maroon, and pink are included. All of the colors blended easily with black and white to make different shades. They dried quickly and it was easy to paint a second layer on top of the last. I used these with my young children to do a simple project and they were easy for them to use. They washed off of hands with soap and water. The brush that comes with them is small and thin enough for detail. Not the best brush ever but its covered and not frayed or splayed out like some kits include. I don't care for the plastic strips they come in but overall they're geat budget paints.
A nice collection of different colors. These acrylic paints have a nice little cup with a good amount of paint in each. They do dry quick once painted so my kids aren't having to wait too long to add more detail on top of the first layer. I will definitely buy again.
Great on my angel crafts. Will be using it on some snowflake ornaments too. Great choice of colors and sizes. Priced right too!
This kit has so many amazing things in it to let your imagination run wild. I loved the different colors of pipe cleaners and who doesn't love googly eyes to add to their creations!!!
Hello Hobby paints. Bold and true colors. The paint texture is great on wood, canvas and paper. Drys quickly and layers perfectly. Nice variety of colors. Only negative is opening the individual pots. They are stiff and tight, which keeps the paint fresh, but could make if difficult to open. Perfect paint for gifting and using for many different hobbies.
These pints were very fun for my boys to paint wooden cutouts. The color variety is fantastic, and the paint has really good coverage. I didn't think about the paint being non-washable. I should've known, but I am too used to my boys using crayola washable paint. The acrylics did stain their clothes :(. Overall a great product when used correctly. The little paintbrushes it came with were very fine, but this was perfect for the stained glass butterflies they did. I have since closed up the paints and put them in a high cupboard so I can supervise a little better next time, and make sure my kids are wearing clothes that can be painted in.
We painted rocks in use for embellishment
Yippy, yahoo all I need for small projects. These little pots by Hello Hobby are quite convenient and seal tight. I cut my strips into individual pots, just a preference of mine as sometimes I like to dab colors on a paper plate, and other times when I am working a larger area I like to hold the pot in my hand while I dip the brush in and work the piece. This set comes with 12 pots of paint in the colors as follows: blue; violet or lavender; deep red almost like a burgundy or dark rose; pink; a pale orange somewhere between that and tan; brown; white; black; green, is on the brighter side but not neon; yellow, again it is on the more vibrant side but not neon; orange which reminds me of a lovely Autumn leaf; red, kind of candy apple as we would call it. Definitely, some nice colors that stand on their own but with the lot where one can play around and create even more hues and variations. The paint itself may need more than one coat depending on the finish you are going for and what it's being used on. When I did it on the wooden die-cut shapes by Hello Hobby I used it at three levels. Sheer, which was more of a dry brush technique. Average or natural, which was just dipping my brush in as normal, painting and sometimes layering colors after they dried. Heavy, purposefully loading a heavy amount of paint on the wood to let it set in, when dried it left a visible amount on the wooden shape to almost creating a bit of texture. Very happy with this paint, lends to ample variations, hues, levels of imagination in easy-to-use pots. I detected virtually no odor, which is extra pleasing to me as I have allergies and migraine triggers that were not affected by these paints (some paints can be unpleasantly odorous, this are not). Yes, I would recommend this product as it great for my needs.
These paints are a nice quality for both crafts and painting on paper with kids. The colors came out bright, vivid, and with a smooth texture. However, I was a bit frustrated with the containers for the paints though, they were so difficult to get open! Neither my 11 year old, 7 year old, or myself had any luck. We ended up having to call in help from their Dad who was finally able to get them opened. While I can see the benefit in making them slightly difficult for kids to sneak into without supervision, this was a bit too difficult.
EXTREMELY POORLY MADE! THESE ARE THE WORST OF LITERALLY EVER SEEN! I'VE ORDERED MILLIONS OF THESE AND USED MILLIONS OF THESE AND THESE ARE THE WORST I'VE EVER EVER SEEN OR USED AND THAT'S SAYING A LOT! GREAT GREAT BRASS IF YOU COULD USE THEM AT ALL!
