I bought this to make DIY stencils with my exacto knife. It is way too thick to cut a clean line without a machine. Other than that, I'll say that I'm new to crafting and it seems to be great quality thickness for someone who wants s using it in a cutting machine.
I'm working on a design now but haven't quite finished. These are awesome. You could make a business logo or anything you want to have on anything. I can't wait to use mine.
These blanks are nice and easily used with your cutting machine. The 12 x 12 inch is perfect for cricut. Any stencil imaginable can be cut on these sheets with your cricut. Just load this stencil material onto your mat and into your machine with your cutting blade. Beautiful long lasting results can be used over and over. The pant and dobbers are included with your stencil blanks. The dobbers are perfect for applying paint to any project. Several light coats are best..
With this set of reusable stencils you will get 4 blank sheets . The Hello Hobby stencils blank sheets are great to use when you want a particular design but can't find a stencil of it. You can trace any design or object you want and transfer it to the blank sheet, cut it out and let your creativity begin! I like to use washable markers but one could use any number of ways to transfer a design onto the sheet. I would suggest something easily removed incase you make a mistake and need to redo it. You don't have to use the whole sheet for each picture, you can cut to any size you want and get the most stencils out of each sheet. The stencils are reusable and are easy to clean. Each of the 4 sheets are 12 x 12 inches giving you lots of room for designs. They are not just usable on a flat surface as they are flexible enough to adapt to any surface you want. I can't draw and tracing a design is my best option and now I can do my own stencils with the Hello Hobby blank stencil sheets and so can you!
This is perfect! Nice thickness, I plan to use it for my Royal icing cookies and my only problem was trying to cut it on my Cricut Explore 3, I couldn't figure out the setting to cut it on. I ended up using the thick Cardstock setting and it cut all the way through but I still had to use my weeding tool to poke the letters out which caused some spots to break but overall it was great.
Blank Stencil It is very easy to use, easy to clean, and very sturdy. It can be used multiple times without ruining the stencils. It cut easily either with precision knife or with my cutting machine. Perfect size 12x12, fit my Silhouette cutting machine The plastic is not too thick and not too thin. My cutting machine cut it easily and it go through the machine smoothly. It is not completely transparent, a bit milky but that is perfect. The transparent stencil sometimes a bit difficult to see to make sure it align properly, and it is not too opaque so I can see the placement of the design. I can also use scissor to cut the design. It comes with 4 blank sheets so I can create many designs. I can make a lot of smaller stencils or bigger one, as big as 12x12 design. Sturdy enough so when I use it with chalk paint it does not bleed. Of course it is depend on the material of your project and the type of paint you use. I recommended this material. Price a bit of the pricy side, but the quality is pretty good, so I think it worth it.
Really liked this product. The size is great for those bigger projects that you might want to do. The sheets are pretty thick and you definitely will need a razor or exacto knife to cut your design. I tried a pair of my very sharp embroidery scissors to cut out a design. While I could do it, it took a lot of effort and I don't think the edges were as smooth. The sheets are thick enough were it will lay nice and flat on whatever you are doing the stencil on. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to be able to stencil their own designs on things.
Excellent product. I needed to make my own stencil, and this pack of four did the job. Good weight to it. Cut beautifully on my cutter. Held shape well.
These sheets are nice and thick, not flimsy at all. This did create a little problem for me because my blade was dull. However after I got a new one it was perfect.
I think the most important part is to have a new blade in your exacto knife. Tracing is pretty easy to do on this stencil blank. Had no issues whatsoever. Great for making your own stencil.
