This is the Hello Hobby Build Your Own Multicolor Wooden Sleigh Ornament Kit - ( ages 5+ ), See warning on the front of the package. This kit has 28 pieces - 22 wood pieces,4 paints, 1 glue 0.1 fl.oz ( 3mL ) Each & 1 Paint Brush. An instruction sheet is included in the package. This looks like a very fun hands on activity to do.
This is easy to assemble. My five year old put this together and had so much fun painting it! It even had two little wooden people! It comes with everything you need. Perfect little Christmas craft or even a gift. He made this one of our Christmas decorations
This Build Your Own Multicolor Wooden Sleigh Ornament Kit is not only fun it's really cute when it's finished. I let my teenage daughter paint and assemble it and she had a lot of fun. It was easy for her to do all on her own with no help. Pieces are good quality wood and seem to be nice and sturdy when assembled. The paint was easy to apply and dried quickly. This is going to be a nice addition to our holiday décor this year!
Making little sleigh in a cute little reindeer with so much fun for me and my granddaughter. Went together really easy all the paint and everything that was needed was in the kit. We did add a little glitter and ribbon just for fun would definitely recommend it for someone who wants to make memories with those kids whether their grandkids or their kids or foster kids this was really fun
This Hello Hobby Build Your Own Wooden Gingerbread House Kit was a better kit than I expected it to be. The kit includes all the wooden pieces necessary to build a gingerbread house and 2 gingerbread people. It also includes a se t of paint in Christmas colors.....red, white, green, brown and one tub labeled gl for wood glue. The instructions are adequate but could be better with step by step pictures. Currently the instructions have pictures of the parts labeled and written steps of which part goes where. It does the trick though but having a completed picture in front of you while building helps a bunch. The brown paint should have been more than what's included and we had to get creative to paint the rest of the gingerbread house. The brush is OK for general use but lacking on finer details. We ended up using our own brushes and paint to complete the project. The glue was OK but I eneded up using crazy glue on the door arch and roof that was just not holding together with the wood glue alone. Overall it was a fun holiday build with my kids and we loved how it turned out. The Verdict is get it! Your kids will really enjoy it. I recommend it.
This kit provided a fun Holiday activity. I enjoyed constructing it with my daughter. The wood slices are well cut and have minimal fraying. The pieces fit together well and the glue included held the pieces together effectively. My only qualm with this kit was the quality of the paint and brush included. They did not work as well as I would have liked. I did use my personal acrylic paint and brushes to decorate this kit, and it turned out great. I would recommend this kit with the caveat that you have additional paint and brushes at your disposal.
Such a great little craft for the children to put together! It kept them occupied for about 45 minutes. It came with 4 paint colors: red, green, yellow, and white, plus a tub of glue, marked “GL” and a paint brush. My daughter wondered why it didn't come with brown, but mixed the red and green together to make her own brown for the reindeer and she also didn't realize that, “GL” meant glue, so I'd recommend labelling it “glue” instead. The paint dried very quickly and the craft looks so fun in the center of our kitchen island. I love this set and would recommend it.
This is a very cute project. I don't think I would say it's accurate that it's for 5+ , my 9 year old needed help. There are a lot of pieces and the directions aren't super clear. That being said, we had fun and it provided about an hour of entertainment between gluing it together and painting it. It's a great arts and crafts activity for an older kid who has the patience for all the steps and the fine motor skills. It's definitely creative.
This is a cute little craft. The only thing is: there could be a little more paint offered. I say that because if it came with every color, what is provided would probably be enough. But you don't get the color brown so you have to make it using the other colors, thus using up the colors much faster and now needing additional paint. Other than that, it's pretty cute for my kids to do together.
My eight year old daughter was so excited for this craft. Unfortunately she was disappointed with it. This wasn't a craft she could do without help and she never wants help with her crafts. After asking two of her older siblings for help with understanding a few instructions she was finally able to finish this gingerbread house. The instructions were not clear enough for her to understand and even her older siblings could see how she misunderstood. She messed up on a few steps and had to go back and fix it later. She was also disappointed with the paint included with this. Some seem to be a bit dried out as it was thick to use. For an inexpensive craft this may be fun but sadly my child was so frustrated with it she didn't enjoy it as she had hoped. I did receive this item in exchange for my honest opinion.
