my dog trainer uses these to train all his dogs and he was leash trained in 5 minutes
I like this collar because it slows my dog down without choking her.
My dog is a very big puller and this is very sturdy. This one is much lighter weight than the one we''ve been using, which I bought before. I remember paying close to forty dollars for that one. This should still do the trick, good price and great reviews.
Came with 8 links and I had to remove 2 to fit my dog's neck. I wish I could remove 1/2 a link so it stops sliding down as much. 1/2 the diameter is the choke chain when it's fitted, so the 3.0 MM one is too large for dogs with thin necks, such as standard poodles. That said, it works when I use it carefully.
Just - WHY? I've been rescuing
Not only did these arrive late, they're misleading and incorrectly listed as herm sprenger prong collars. They are not herm sprenger brand. They're some cheaply made off brand collars that are absolutely not worth the price.
