Following the death of his wife, a man moves to the country with his young daughter in an attempt to put their lives back together. Things seem to be progressing well until the young girl develops a friendship with an imaginary boy named Charlie. When people start dying, the man begins to suspect that his daughter's friend might not be as make believe as he once thought.
