This thing is simple to use. It works really well. The only thing is that it doesn't lock so theft is a issue. Its difficult to store in the cab. Great product!
The HitchMate Cargo Bar and StabiLoad are of steel construction. The Cargo Bar has large hard-rubber pads on the ends to prevent slippage. The Cargo Bar is therefore somewhat heavy, but can retain substantial loads. Used for numerous trips in a recent household move, we had no slippage problems with any furniture, even very heavy and/or tall. Note that the bars need to be securely snugged against the load to prevent movement, but that is only a matter of positioning, which is easy since the Cargo Bar releases and tightens simply. (The Cargo Bar latches closed but does not have a lock. A U-type bike lock over the lever can lock it in place.) The Bed Net is also substantially made for heavy-duty use, rather than simple string-nylon netting. To me, this package earns its "Commercial Grade" carton note. These products are sure to get years of service, hauling hay, etc., for the family horses and sports gear for all.

Very sturdy and heavy duty. Simple to use as well. Net is very handy for trips to the market and seperator is very easy to move...works very well at keeping things where they belong.

I've been through two other cargo bars in the last five years and neither has held up much longer than two years. This one, I think, will last me through my next couple of trucks. The bar is much heavier then either of its predecessors and, when locked in place, doesn't move a bit. Slightly harder to install than the others ( you have to approximate the proper width before closing the ratcheting bar), the heavy bar and large feet provide a really firm barrier for cargo of any size. Used in combination with the divider bar, any item that will fit in the bed can be completely immobilized. If you have small items to put in the bed, add the cargo bag. It will hold the little stuff you like to toss back there. This is possibly the most useful thing I've ever added to my truck. If you haven't figured it out yet, I love this one!
I use this on my 2012 Chevrolet silverado The cargo bar is a long bar fits side ways with t shape ends with plastic tips. it can be adjusted to fit inside the bed it has a lever to open and close. the stabiload is used to secure loads in place.as shown. the bed net can be attached to the cargo bar with felt gro.
I am really happy with my purchase, finally got all my junk out of my backseat of my pu and stored away in the back of the bed!!
This cargo bar is everything I was looking for. Easy to use, engages quickly, and is nice and heavy duty. There are other products out for about half the price, but this is going to stand up to real use (and abuse). The "bed net" and "Stabiload" accessories aren't anything to write home about, but the bar by itself is worth the purchase anyway.
Would buy this again!!
