I bought 2 of these, one for my bedroom and one for my office. My cat stays around me all of the time and I didn't want him getting second hand smoke. They both work great and batteries are lasting so far.
It worked like I expected. If you think that it's going to pull in every bit of smoke you'll be disappointed. It pulls in a good amount which is better than having all the smoke going in to the room. I don't think you'll find a better one.
The ash tray works very well for the price. My wife is the smoker; there is litterally no smoke that comes out of this tray. Washing or changing the filter occasionally is required to keep it the same. Occassional cleaning of the Grabber must be done.The only drawback is that within 6 months to a year, the plastic where the screws are sometimes breaks which requires repair or replacement.
This is a great product and it works very well. It is battery operated so if used frequently the batteries will wear out fast. I wish there was a way to connect it to electric power . The one thing I learned is that you have to be sure to put the lid down after smoking or it will lose battery power. Otherwise this item is an excellent purchase.
No power adapter came with it and in a day batteries are drained so I don't use the filter system. I smoke or vaper and it holds my e cigarette and Walmart bought Blu pack real good. The cost is low I think. I would recommend this for e cig, but not for regular filter smoking.
It says comes with a home adapter and can also be run on two "D" batteries. not true it is a different model. no home adapter. i would not buy battery only. taking it back. walmart should not say comes with a home adapter when it doe not come with a home adapter.
delivered quickly, however, not really worth the price, the fan is in the bottom of the unit, not the top where the filter is, so the fan just blows the smoke around. I get the same result with my mini fan near my ashtray, or opening a window.
This works but I have to keep opening and closing it to get it to the right spot. Now I'm not sure if it's just the one that I have because I read the reviews on this and thought that they were pretty good the fan is very good and it does pull the smoke once I get it set to on but it turns on automatically when you open the lid but if the lid is not in the right position it doesn't work so like I said maybe it's just the one that I have I'm not really sure.
Installed batteries and when I opened it didn't work. When it was completely closed the fan would work. It's supposed to work when partially open. What good is it if it only works when closed.
I ordered myself one because my grandfather smokes a lot of cigars, and when I went to pick it up about 2 days ago, it looked new, until I opened the box and it was disgusting inside as if someone has been using it for YEARS plus it doesn't even work! I'm waiting for my other purchases to be ready for pickup before I return it but don't waste your time going it online, if your going to get it go in stores smh.
