When I sit on the couch and look over at my bookcase which houses my new fountain I can really see a gap at the bottom of it... It is only when I see it from basically up on top of it that I do not see this gap... Not enough rocks are included so I had to add more....It splashes alittle but added alittle more water and it actually quit....(splashing that is) The sound is really good and relaxing, and the light is a nice touch if you turn down the lights in the room to meditate.... Over all even with the little things that are wrong, I am glad I got this and I like it...
I love this fountain. I had been wanting one for the longest and this is exactly what I had been looking for. I didn't find it hard to put the rocks in place to make it look like the picture. The pump is very quiet so you can enjoy the sound of the water trickling down the rocks. It sounds relaxing and looks very feng shui. The only problem you might encounter is arranging the rocks and stones in way that will not spray out of the bowl. This is normal for a fountain of that design because of the natural uneven shape of the stones. But if you fix them while the water is running you can better arrange them so that doesn't happen.
My son and I were looking for a novel way to show off our rock and crystal collection. We were very pleased with this selection. The waterproof LED light and the moving water bring out all of the colors of our different crystals and minerals. The pump is not noisy, but the water must be clean (or it will make noise). Recommend hard water solution to be added to avoid annoying white scales on the black slabs of the fountain.
I love this little water feature; so much so that I have one at my office cube and one for my home. The light in the center and the rocks (I did purchase more as I liked the look) on the ledges make for a beautiful little centerpiece. I keep the water feature on a black plastic (catering) tray under a bamboo table charger surrounded with all of those extra little river rocks I purchased. Well worth it, as I get extra guests stopping by my cube just to relax by the water feature for a moment or two.
ONE THING I COULDN'T BE SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT WAS I CANT GET IT TO LOOK THE EXTACT IN THE PIC AS SHOWN... BUT NATURE IS GOOD AS IT IS FOR THE PRICE I PAID FOR VERY PRETTY AND VERY MODERN AND COMPLEMENTARY
I got this product a week ago, it was fairly easy to put together, once everything is in place you just turn it on and let it run, the running water really helps provide a very nice ambiance around a room and the light in the background of it helps even more. The product is small, but for less than 20 dollars I think is a very good purchase.
Only One Complaint....The Water Doesn't flow alllll over..kinda just in the front. but sheesh that's the only complaint, so for $15 this comes out a winner!!! I love it...it adds so much peace and tranquility to my room. My room is decorated black gold and red..so i added my own red marbles and additional black rocks to it and it just sets the room off so well. Was more expensive in the store so i would recommend checking the difference in price online vs the store may save ya five bucks. enjoy your fountain. :-)
This item was easy to assemble and the instructions were simplistic. The fountain works fine and the water flow is acceptable. Do not expect it to look like the photo on the box. The rock shelves are dull and the water flow was not like the package simulates. Specific rock placement makes a different in the flow. The motor can be slightly heard above the water trickling if you focus hard enough. As someone else noted, you are going to get tiny water droplet splash so do not lay papers near it like I did. It has splashed a good 12 inches away.
I like this fountain. I haven't experienced anything that I haven't been able to adjust (ie water spilling out of bowl can be fixed by shifting the plates, and adjusting the pump speed). Make sure to put plenty of water in, or else you can here the pump.
The fountain was all plastic (except for the little rocks they supply to try to make it look better) I was hoping for something a lot more substantial. It didn't make much of a 'trickling' sound, especially with the amount of water they recommended. I had to put way more that recommended and then it wanted to splash over the bowl.
