I PURCHASED THIS ONLINE AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE I ONLY PAYED ABOUT 20 DOLLARS FOR SUCH A COOL LITTLE DEVICE!! I HAVE TWINS THAT ARE 8 MONTHS OLD AND A 2 YR OLD, SO ITS LIKE AHAVING TRIPLETS SOMETIMES!! BUT ANYWAYS MY BABIES LOVE IT! THEY LOVE ALL THE DIFFRERNT SOUNDS IT MAKES AND ESPECIALLY THE THE CHANGEABLE PROJECTOR. I LOVE THE TIMER, I THINK THIS ALSO WORKS GREAT AS A NIGHT LIGHT FOR ME. I CAN PLAY THE PROJECTOR BY ITSELF WITH NO SOUND OR WITH SOUND AND I LOVE THE DIFF VOLUME LEVELS...INCREDIBLE AND DEFINITLY WORTH SPENDING 20 BUCKS! DONTG GO OUT AND PAY 30-80 DOLLARS ON ONE , THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED!! TRUST ME!!
I bought this for my second child, which is due in September, and I ended up letting my two year old use it. He loves it! I'm now going to have to buy a second one. It is small and compact which is fantastic! Highly recommend!
I had borrowed one of my friends Homesonics before I purchased this one. I liked hers so much I decided to get this one. I had a Fisher Price one and it was not nearly has nice as this one. It could not be used on cathedral ceilings and this one can be. The pictures are very clear and the unit has a setting in which you can adjust the brightness. The pictures go around in a circle, they do not fade in and out which I like because I like to keep a consistant light scheme in the room. There are three discs but I tend to only use the nighttime one. Sometimes I think that I enjoy watching this projector more than my 9 month old daughter when I am rocking her. She seems to enjoy the sounds the best. You have the option of using the sounds or the projector or both. The projector is bright enough to be used as a nightlight. It lights up my child's crib which I thought might be a problem but it is not. Since I have gotten this my child has been sleeping better at night. The only complaint I have is that when the unit is in projection mode it can be a little loud but can be drowned out by the sound selections if they are turned up. However, I do not like the sounds to be too loud so I deal with the noise. I like this unit so much I think I am going to buy more for future baby showers. It is very complact and will fit on a small end table. It will not attach to a crib. It is great for traveling. The projector can be swiveled so that you can shine it on the ceiling or even on a wall. One complaint I had read stated that the unit gets hot when left on for a long time. The unit has time settings or you can leave it on continuously. I leave mine on for at least 12 hours every night and it has never gotten hot. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. It also can run on batteries or plug in. My three year old even wants one because he thinks it is neat to watch.
Love this product. I am using it in my son's room right now while he is napping. The projector is so neat on the ceiling...he just lays there and watches all of the pictures. He will be 2 in a few months and I think he will be using this for a while....blocks out a ton of noise. It plays continuously or on a timer. Great buy!
We have sleep trained all of our boys, so naturally when #3 came along we wanted to get him his own sound machine. I came across this machine with the picture projection and thought I would give it a try. It has the rain sound which we all use to sleep to as well as 4 other sounds and you can put 3 different picture reels in the projector for the ceiling. You can safely store the others reels in the back of the machine so they don't get lost or damaged. Another fabulous feature is the projector can be adjusted to shine where ever you want the picture to shine. The baby who is only three months enjoys laying in his crib and watching the light show and listening to lullaby’s. We use ours day and night; this was a very worthwhile investment.
I bought a speaker system for my ipod to play music for my daughter and she didnt seem to like the everyday music that i listen to. I was checking out walmart.com and stumbled upon this and was interested .. so i looked at all the other sound spa's like this and i didnt read as good of reviews on them as i did on this one .. i checked it out on Target and Amazon and they too had great reviews on this. Target wanted around $40 for it and Walmart only wanted $18. So i bought it from walmart. Now that i have it, i would have paid the $40. It is so worth the money. I just recieved the machine maybe an hour ago lol I opened the box and was just testing it out to see how it worked .. mean while i was holding my 1 month old daughter and I had the music going and I was playing with the projection discs. Maybe 10 minutes went by and i looked down to see my daughter passed out in my arms ... If this is how its gonna work all the time i will by 3 more and put them all over my house! I am so in love with this product :)
Cxcellent product for it's price but I wish all three projection images were loaded onto the unit instead of having to swtich each time you want a different picture. I would have given a 5 star if that was the case. Overall good buy. Got it quickly. Thanks Wal-Mart!
First of all, I like that its small and you can guide the picture to shine almost anywhere in the room. The three songs are cute and my daughter really like the ocean waves setting. The pictures are clear and she loves looking at them. The only problem we're having is that when we turn on the picture part and it starts turning, it makes this terrible grinding noise. It didn't do this to start with. We didn't drop it or anything.. it just started acting up. So i'm not sure what thats all about. Overall I think it would be great, if only the picture part worked as it should.
This works really well as a sound machine. The projector always lights up but after a while it stops rotating. We have had 2 and have had that problem with both. I wish there was a dimmer for the light because it is almost to bright but overall it works well for sound.
This product worked well for the first two months then the projection stopped spinning. This was our sons favorite part of the product, now it just stays on one picture.
