i recently purchased a homedics ipod radio w/clock an soundspa.It is a great product i will definately purchase items from walmart.com
I highly recommend. Worked perfect with my ipod, has great sound. two alarm feature that does not have to be set every night is great too. But the greatest of all is the projection of the time on the ceiling that I can read without glasses.
Bought this as a gift and they loved it. Listen to ipod/radio as you fall asleep (it has a timer). Projected time is very blue, clear, and big. Only downfall is sometimes you can't see the time on the actual clock screen at certain angles, but the projection is much better to look at anyways. Big speakers allow it to function just as well as a stereo.
My husband and I love the HoMedics iSoundSpa Max. Not only is it a clock radio, but it plays and charges your iPod, fits all iPods, is an alarm clock, plays a variety of nature sounds, has a remote (remotes do not uaually come with comparible systems), and has a projection piece so you can display the clock on the ceiling/wall. My husband and I fall esleep to the ocean waves sound, and it puts us out like a light! The sound quality is good as well. I would recommend this product to everyone!
The iSoundSpa Max is a very good buy. The only problem I had w/it, the remote that came w/it did not work. When I called the company to complain, after some explaining, they agreed to send me a new remote. Which has not arrived as yet. The clock is VERY bright, even on dim, it lights up my whole room at night. The sound that comes out of the isound is very good, sounds like a stereo.
Very cool idea for a clock radio, but poorly executed. The LCD display is so bright it's hard distinguish between the actual time the other display elements on the screen. Issues with this product: 1. LCD is too bright and the dimmer doesn't help much. 2. Buttons are extremely loud when depressed. 3. The 5 of the 6 nature sounds are almost the same, they all sound like water. 4. Sound is decent, but not really as advertised. What I liked about this product: 1. Good design, goes great with contemporary decor. 2. Remote control is a nice feature and functions properly. 3. Illumination of the time on the ceiling is super cool, though it also lights up the room somewhat. 4. Plays your ipod, which is nice. Don't think I'd buy this product again, but it does pack a lot of features, hopefully they'll get it right in a future release.
The speakers are really bad! The speakers blew in 30 minutes. The ipod wasn't even loud! Poor system!
The alarm always sounded just for 1 sec and the time jumped a minute. The natural sounds are noisy as well just like others said. Item was returned.
For the price of this clock i was expecting it to be a good quality clock.... it is not The LCS screen at night is only readable at eye level. The blue screen is also blinding at night and I had to cover it up. The projector is not visable during the day, only at night. The speakers are terrible also, sounds like an old 80's boom box with the drowning noise. The inserts DO NOT FIT ipod 3G nanos. Its says it fits nanos but it means the skinny tall ones not the square nanos. This clock is not worth the hassle or the price. I would not recommend this to anyone. save your money.
This is an overpriced piece of trash. I had to return my first one because as soon as you turn the power on there is a high pitched squeal that does not go away. The next one I exchanged it for did the same exact thing, so today I'm gonig to just see if I can get my money back and get something else. I love the time projected on the ceiling, but thats it.
