This is a great little nightstand! Looks so nice in my room and was easy to put together. I am 63 years old and it took me less than an hour to do it I love it and I'm so happy I ordered it . It now allows me to move my furniture around in the room as my other nightstand was big and bulky and did not allow this
It's true that this product looks like a bright white in the picture on the website and in person it's more of a cream color. However, Hayneedle offered it for a great price and it was the perfect size for the small space next to my bed, so I was okay with that. I also love the pull out tray to set my water cup so I don't have to worry about getting ring marks on the top. The drawer is shallow and I thought it would be deeper, but it's perfect for my needs. I just wanted a drawer to store remotes out of sight. The cubby underneath is great for books and setting my laptop when I'm done using it. Assembly took me 2 hours to complete. I would have been done sooner, but I had one of the pieces facing the wrong way and I had to take several pieces apart in order to reverse the piece. My fault entirely, but it was easy enough to correct and the instructions were clear to follow and not frustrating at all. I put this piece together myself, so it's an easy one person job. They provide you one extra piece of hardware for each thing, so that's nice in case you misplace a screw or drop it and can't retrieve it while you're assembling it. Because they provide you with extras, it's normal to have extra screws remaining when you're finished. Like other reviews mention, this piece does seem like it's good quality, sturdy, and looks more expensive than I actually paid. So happy with this purchase and the packaging was great too! It was delivered without any of the pieces getting damaged during transit.
We have so many compliments about this piece of furniture. Liked the first one so much, we bought a second one. Even the way this piece was boxed for shipping; every single piece so well protected, that it couldn't possibly receive any shipping damage. Really great quality for your money; once assembled, it is a heavy sturdy piece that will last and stay beautiful. Note of caution though, you've really got to concentrate when you read the instructions and put this baby together, not simple. Best to work as a team; one to read and interpret directions, the other to get it together. But well worth the effort, we're extremely pleased!
My husband said the directions were really good and while it took a while to put together, it was easy to put together. He did drill a hole in the back to put a cord through though. It looks great and I love the little shelf
The instructions with this night stand were clear and easy to follow. It did take us a while, but everything fit perfectly. This is the first product we have assembled where we were actually given extra screws, etc. It looks very nice and not cheap. The only fault I would find is that I wish the drawer was larger, other than that I love it and wish now that I had purchased 2.
This is a very nice and sturdy nightstand. The extra pullout section is very convenient and gives an additional surface. The size is perfect for a small space. The only reason I did not rate this as five star is because it requires a lot of assembly of many, many, many pieces. If you are not a handy tool-woman it can be very frustrating to assemble.
Saw this in a magazine and immediately liked the simple but elegant looks of the bedside table. Not hard to put together. The top board can be pulled out for small objects. Just the right size as a bedside table for our bunk bed.
I am very pleased with the night stand as a whole. My fingers are not adept enough to put it together, but that is what son-in-laws are for! The directions are diagramed very well and the hardware supplied is more than ample.
After reading the other reviews I thought I would be safe in ordering this night stand. When it arrived it was packed very well so I felt a sigh of relief. However, when unpacking the pieces I found that two of the pieces were sub par (one of the pieces being the front of the drawer). I called the company and in a timely manner they sent me the replacement pieces I needed. Unfortunately, the replacement for the front of the drawer was better but it still had a dent in it. My husband and I became frustrated when we found that a lot of the holes had not been pre-drilled properly which caused stripped screws. I decided it's not worth all the effort. I will be returning it and will spend more for a better night stand!!!
I ordered two matching nightstands. They were shipped quickly and all the pieces were carefully packaged. The instructions were easy to follow. There was a factory problem with both nightstands. One had a scratch on the drawer about 3" long which was in the wood before the painting process. It is very noticeable but not worth getting it replaced. The other nightstand was made with the leg supports off center by 3/4". I had to remove the four factory glued supports and relocate them to the centered position. This would have been a real problem if I did not have wood working skills. Overall, I like the looks of the nightstands and they are very solid.
