I bought two of these rugs, one for the kitchen area and one under the kitchen table to define the two areas of my kitchen. The colors and rich and nice and look great on top of my hickory wood laminate flooring and with my new granite counter tops. The only problem was the ends of the rugs were curled under a bit. Over time the wrinkles seem to be working out, but it was necessary to work on placement of the rug so as not to trip until the rug lay flat. They are not real thick rugs, but work as great color accents to spruce up a room.
I read some of the reviews prior to my purchase and they all were very helpful, especially the the review that recommended that those who were complainting about the spots on the rug, go back and look at the picture again to see that it was part of the pattern. That was the deal maker for me because I was able to decide if it would be a problem for me before purchasing the item. I was pleased with the delivery to site (store pick up) timing. The customer service at the site pick-up location was very professional and after returning home, I unrolled the rugs (I purchased 2 8x10 - for living & dinning rooms because they are so close together) my heart almost skipped a beat. The pattern was even more beautiful in person, the colors matched the picture and I love the splash of green, it really made my rooms pop! Once down, the rugs did not move, which again made me very happy. The rugs gave the rooms a fuller look. After two months of searching different websites for area rugs, I am so glad that I decided on Walmart.com.
I purchased an 8 x 10 rug to go under sectional in family room. The perfect size for my large area. The colors match the accesories in the room perfectly! The blotches in the rug don't bother me. In fact, I like that they make the rug look more casual.
This rug has beautiful, rich colors. I have it at the front door and it vacuums up beautifully and stays put on the floor. A great rug at a great price. Love it!
I bought this rug runner to match a small rug that I bought in the local Walmart store. The store didn't have the runner available, so I ordered it online. It has nice bold colors that spice up the living room which has a beige carpet. I am happy with this rug.
I am really glad I purchased this rug. For the size, and the price, it is a great buy. That said, I do wish it was offered in the 5' X 8' size as well as 8' X 10'. It is slightly larger than I wanted or needed. Regardless, it's enhanced my main living area, and it's inexpensive enough that when it wears out I can buy another one. I attached a picture for you to see.
i bought the big one for my living room... i like the colors but parts of the rug look discolored on my rug the light brown has big white spots and it takes away from the appeal of the rug altogether... its ok
I read the reviews and was warned before purchasing, but I loved the colors and patterns in this rug so much because it matched my living decor so well that I just hoped it wouldn't have any blotched spots. Unfortunately it did and yes it looked just as one person had stated, as if bleach were poured or wasted on it. Very disappointing, I did keep the rug and masked most of the distorted area under the couch where it's not noticeable at first sight. The parts that are not spotted looks beautiful just as the picture shows, but who wants only part of the beauty you paid for. I purchased the largest of the rugs; forgot the exact sz (10'x14') or so.
The carpet is damaged. I was so disappointed.
I was hesitant about buying these rugs from walmart.com because of the other negative reviews with the blotchy spots. Well, I should have listened. I purchased two of the small rugs and one runner, and all of them had spots, in different colors. The smaller rugs had a white "stain" in the dark brown section, and the runner had white "stains" in the green and maroon sections. I'm extremely disappointed because I thought the pattern was great, but will be returning. I also attached pictures so others can see what the negative reviews are referring to. Buyer beware!!
