We needed a fire pit replacement since the current one of 10 years melted down because the fire got too hot. This one fills the bill--decent size and not too expensive.
Not only did this product ship quickly, it was free shipping to my home and very easy to assemble. Many compliments on it and love the fact it has a deep well so there's less mess and will fit more wood than others I've Owned.
This so far and we have only used it once is awesome. Its easy to put together and looks classy. It gives out a great heat as the lattice sides let heat out - which when I researched was the problem for heaps of them. Love it - great price!
I bought this firepit for entertaining guests during Halloween this year. I was surprised at the size of this unit compared to others at this price point. Assembly took about 10-15 minutes with easy to follow instructions. The finish of the firepit looks great aesthetically with a matte black finish on the majority of the firepit and a copper color around the top surface of the lip. I'm not able to say how well the unit holds up to the elements and repeated use. A minor complaint is the firepit rocks slightly side to side due to uneven feet. After firewood is added, the unit is stable; again this is acceptable for the price and look of the product.
For the price you cannot beat! Although, the fire pit is not ' heavy duty ' as stated in the description, I thought I was going to be disappointed, but instead, it's lightweight construction makes it easier to lift and clean out the ashes. I can also easily move and store it in the garage, so it's life span will be extended from outside rusting elements. It's contemporary and attractive, adding to the patio ambiance. Looks more expensive than others in same price range. I highly recommend!
Still waiting for cool weather to use, however, I see no reason why we will not be pleased with this product. It is very attractive and has a deep well making it safer and easier to keep flames at a manageable level. I am not using legs, bought some attractive landscape bricks and created a circular stone base for it to sit on. Much more attractive and better to manage the height.
Received exactly what I expected. Good size fire pit with nice volume; the picture is very tell-tale. I admit the frame, especially the rim, is quite thin and even bends easily, but so far has been tolerable to heat and normal wear/usage. Obviously not top end quality, but appropriate if looking for a decent size, yet inexpensive model that is designed for a simple backyard setting.
When it arrived and we unpacked it we were disappointed to find one side was dented, as if it had been dropped. Yes I could have returned it but my husband decided to bend it back in place. The metal was soft enough to do so. Just wish the grate inside was thicker, we know it won't last as long as our last one. Over all it serves our purpose to enjoy sitting around it and having friends over.
After waiting 10 days for delivery to the store, I got the unit home only to discover the numerous dents and scratches on the unit. Plus one leg did not align to the holes for the legs. I hope the replacement is in better condition.
They say heavey duty but it is very thin metal. They said not to put more then 8 pounds of wood in it at a time. That is about one log! It had dents all over it. The bottom started to bow out the first time we used it. I dont think it will hold up for two fires. I will never buy this brand again.
