After trying a more expensive slipcover offered by a different store, I decided to try this stretchable slipcover to protect my new couch (84 inches). The fabric has a texture that is pleasing to touch. I easly fitted the slipcover following the instructional stickers attached to the product (e.g., "arm section" "back of couch", "front of couch".) Unless your couch is 96" wide, you will have some extra fabric to tuck in which takes a little time to smooth out, but this is easier with this stretchable fabric (than with non-stretchable slipcovers). I especially like the way this one-piece slipcover smooths out the bumps caused by the 3 separate seat cushions of my sofa. The finished appearance, except for the excess fabric, looks quite elegant. The color is subtle and blends well with my tan carpet.
I purchased this item for the reason of having small children. My couches are ruined from dirty hands, accidents, you name it. It covers well, although I beleieve my Loveseat is a little larger than normal, and therefore the tucked parts come out often. I wasn't that pleased with the color, it is lighter than I thought, although I didn't send it back because it was "okay" I guess. It is a good buy with small children, although I think it should be cheaper.
Bought this to recover old sofa to stage our home for sale...SUPER STRETCHY! Cover looks great, with throw pillows, I like it so much I may NOT buy a new sofa set!
I loved the cover for the recliner, so I got it for my couch also. I like the fabric, the look and the color. But, I did have problems with this one. I have a fairly large couch, so I ordered the one for the couch size. Well, it turned out to be to big, and I have way to much excess which keeps getting pulled out of the cushions every time you sit down. I wanted to restun it to get the Loveseat size, but since we were moving I never got the chance. So my only suggestion is that unless you have a really big overstuffed couch you might be better off buying the loveseat size. Other than that, it is a great product....
I purchased these covers for a set of very old couches. I was impressed with the quality of the fabric when they arrived, and they were pretty easy to put on (with help from a second person). For the first few weeks I was a little dismayed because they wouldn't stay straight. This is probably because I have two young girls who bounce around, lay around, and sometimes roll around on the couches. Then, I remembered seeing somewhere to shove a swimming noodle (if you don't have any they only cost a few dollars) down behind the cushions to keep it from moving as much. This has helped a lot. I wouldn't say they fit like gloves, but they look a lot better now. I wasn't a huge fan of the color of the covers online, and I'm still not, but I think that has more to do with my living room's color scheme than the actual color.
