I needed a shelf with specific dimensions to fit next to my washing machine, as well as open sides and narrow supports, since I needed to be able to access the shelves from the side. This is perfect. It looks nice and is very sturdy. It holds my often used small kitchen appliances that I don't want crowding my kitchen shelves, but want to be able to reach easily. It's fairly easy to assemble, but it came without any instructions. That's why I only gave it four stars. I was able to figure it out with only a couple mis-steps, but instructions would have made the process easier, especially considering I had to work it out with a 2 year old and nine month old trying to "help".
