I was worried the container would make the cereal taste like plastic. It just tasted like I remembered! No plastic taste at all.

I noticed your Honey Nut Cheerios (the package says they) have monoglycerides. Where are the monoglycerides sourced from?? Are they plant or animal derived?? Thank you.
I have eaten Honey Nut Cheerios since I was a kid. I still buy this brand for our household because it's good for you. However my household gets upset bc they like other brands better. Well today my partner was finishing the rest of the cereal and something strange poured out. Picture is attached. This thing is hard and feels like plastic. To say the least It will be even harder to get my family to eat this brand again.
I'll start by saying this is a more realistic serving size, and I like the portion control, otherwise my son has a bottomless cereal bowl-- but 17 grams of sugar?! Cheerios has always (deceptively, apparently) marketed their cereal as the healthier alternative to sugary kids' cereals, but HN Cheerios has more sugar than Apple Jacks (14g) and even more sugar than Froot Loops (13g). With the obesity epidemic, especially with regard to children, you would think they would see the value in getting it down to 10-12g of sugar, which is more what I was thinking it was. Boo!
