The packaging was secure and presentable as well as easy to open. I like the simplicity of this thermostat (classic) and the modern color. It doesn't have bells and whistles like other brands or models but these get the job done.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a really basic, old school thermostat. My parents-in-law's house still hasn't upgraded to a digital thermostat but they were in desperate need of a replacement. Although digital would've been preferred, this one seemed much easier to install and they wouldn't have to learn to operate a new system. Instructions are pretty basic. There's only really matching up the labels and wires. Super simple. Honeywell is a brand I trust since they're so well known when it comes to this sort of thing.
I recieved product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The design of this thermostat is much more appealing and unobtrusive than standard outdated, boxy thermostats. I really liked the smaller, sleeker design. I especially liked that it came with a discreet round faceplate that was large enough to cover the hole from my pre-existing faceplate. The installation instructions were also very detailed and concise, including colored pictures for clarity. I found these to be especially helpful having had no prior experience with thermostat installation. Overall, I would recommend this thermostat for anyone looking to replace an outdated thermostat with one that is more modern and visually discreet.

The thermostat was very easy to install and works GREAT!! My son, how is a HVAC installer and repairman, told me to get this thermostat. He said the quality is good and the product is dependable. I find that to be very true!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone...
It is not entirely accurate. It runs about 4 to 5 degrees cooler than you set it at for the summer. As winter is not here yet, I don't know what the heat will be like, but, I set it at 80 degrees and it runs about 76 or 78 degrees. Other than that, seems to be working great.

I wanted something that would fit the footprint of the previous thermostat & be a solid performer & good value. This product seems (haven't used it yet) to fit the bill. The experience of ordering & picking up the item ( I chose store pick up) was seamless. Good job Walmart!
