this weather radio stands tall above others we have owned. More control over warnings and volumes as well as type of signal. A bit confusing instructions since it includes a projector model and leaves out info on the standard model, but you eventually figure it out.
Good value, would have given 5 stars except, there is no way to adjust the volume when the alerts are going off. And I would prefered AM radio over FM. And then there's the part about no alarms while running on the battery back up, like during the storm that set off the radio in the first place!!! But all-in-all it works like it should.
This model is not an am/fm radio as was advertised. It has fm only and was therefore useless to me. Corect your advertising for this model.
