This product is pretty good when your hungry and need to eat something fast. Its great!
My husband eats lunch at work and he's a Type 2 diabetic so sandwiches are contra-indicated! I choose Hormel prepared items that have a high ratio of protein to carbs and he doesn't like mashed potatoes, so the choices are limited, but he loves the the Chili with Beans, and it doesn't raise his blood sugar. The new container is easier for chili than the previous flat Compleats verson. Quick, easy and delicious!
really good and easy for those days you don't have time.
I have celiac disease so I cannot eat foods with wheat/rice. This chili is gluten free so I can use it as a snack or a meal without doing any cooking. Very convenient. The meat/beans combination is also nutritious and filling.

This is what I like to take to work. But since the Covid crisis started, nobody has these microwavable bowls in stock anymore. I emailed Hormel about it and the reply was increased demand for their chili products. I understand this. But why is it only the microwavable bowls that are missing? Their canned chili and Compleats chili are in abundant supply at all the stores here. If the demand is so high wouldn't all their products be gone? I have been stuck buying Campbell's Chunky Chili in the microwavable bowls but I don't like it as much. Too spicy and too runny.
It has gotten to be a regular meal I eat every week. It has a foos price and is filling. I add crackers and cheese to it or our it over nachos with cheese.
Super fast and convenient lunch. The flavor was good. Filled me up too. Will buy this product again.
Not bad for an on-the-go snack.
I have loved this brand in the past. Not sure if something happened on the production line or recipe changed, but it was so salty ! Due to disabilities we eat a lot of ready made foods, and unfortunately most of it is very high in sodium even if it is supposed to be low sodium, sadly, so we are used to that. But oh my gosh ! This was insanely salty !!
