I really love these Hormel meals. There a good way to eat a hot meal when your in a hurry and don't have time to cook. You get a bug slice of pot roast in a delicious gravy with potatoes and carrots. You just vent it a little and microwave on high for one minte. It taste great and is very fulfilling
didn't know if I would like these but I was surprised they're good and if I don't want to cook just put these in the microwave and it's ready to eat nice healthy size
im on a binge with these, i eat ATLEAST One a day! Pop it on tge microwave for 1 min, add pepper and its good to go! Best pot roast ever!!
Thick rich dark gravy, potatoes nice size and real texture, meat very tender not dry. Perfect price and taste I don't cook anymore so it is perfect for my needs
I tried the Homestyle Beef Pot Roast dinner! From Hormel Compleats meals. I was pleasantly surprised! I had to cook in microwave for only one and half minutes. In the oval white bowl it came in. I figured it would be just another bland microwave dinner ! But was very surprised how good it taste ! It had avery good flavor to it (Not what you would expect). It had plenty of vegtables with gravy and potatoes and a very savery Beef roast ! That I ate with a spoon. It was a very filling dinner for the price ! I will definetly be buying more of these dinner's! It was worth what I paid for it maybe more. Fast meal with no clean up! I'm disabled and have arthrithis in my legs , Its very hard to get around the kitchen to make good meals! I live alone and do everything for myself. I was tired of just not eating. Sometimes I would sit in front of refrigerator and make a sandwich! Are whatever I could grab. Not really a good way too live. I order a lot on line at walmart.com ! To get all the household products I need to use around house.So I decided to look at their grocery department. Hopefully found some new ideals for always having something on hand to cook fast! I will order more of the Hormel comleats Homestyle Beef Pot Roast definetly! Will always keep them on hand. They are so much better than a lot of frozen dinners I think ! And also wanted to mention all I put on my dinner was pepper! Taste like salt was cooked with in it. But I had to recommend this Pot Roast to everyone out there who like's Roast beef dinners's! You should just try them once ! See How good they are and very easy to cook!
I LIKE THIS PRODUCT, MOST OF ALL BECAUSE YOU CAN JUST STORE IT AWAY UNTIL YOU WANT TO USE IT, JUST LIKE YOU WOULD CAN GOODS. I FIND THE MEALS TO BE REALLY A LITTLE MEAL, YOU CAN ADD THINGS , LIKE BREADS, SALADS, SPICES OF YOUR OWN,IF YOU WANT TOO. IT IS ACCORDING TO WHAT MEAL YOU LIKE, AND EVEN THOUGH I LIKE TV FROZEN DINNERS, MOST DO NOT FILL YOU UP LIKE THESE DO.AND YOU CAN NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE COST.
I liked the flavor and texture of everything but definitely have to cook it longer than a minute. I did 4 minutes.
I used to like the Turkey and stuffing, but seems to have been a change in recipe. So I thought these looked good ( on the packaging image). It looked like a bowl of gravy. The beef is made in the same style as the turkey. In fact this tastes exactly like the turkey meal -'Salty.
What a total rip! There was only one nickel-sized pot roast piece in the entire container. Ridiculous. The rest was all potatoes, gravy and 3 slices of carrots in a shrunken container. Never will I buy these again unless to maybe feed a quick lunch to a toddler (I don't have or know of any toddlers).
There was no meat in this roast and vegetable meal. It was mostly gravy and potatoes with 2 carrots. I want be getting this again!
