EXCELLENT BANG FOR THE BUCK... PREFER THIS OVER CORN BEEF HASH- LESS GREASY & TASTES GREAT !!!
Bought this instead of corned beef hash by accident. We like it better. Delicious browned in cast iron with eggs.
Very good hash. I order lots of food online and it is so convenient to have it delivered free of charge.
I USE 1 CAN FOR THE 2 OF US, I ADD 1/4 CUP WATER AND SOME INSTANT DRY MASHED POTATOES TO THE HASH TO STRETCH IT OUT. I MIX IT WELL WITH A SPOON. ADD OIL TO A SKILLET AND HEAT. ADD HASH AND SMOOTH OUT.] LET START TO BROWN. TURN HASH OVER; THEN MAKE 4 HOLES IN THE HASH, AND PUT A RAW EGG IN EACH ONE. COVER AND COOK TILL THE EGGS ARE THE WAY YOU WANT. I TAKE MY HUSBANDS OFF FIRST AS HE LIKES SOFT YOLKS, AND LEAVE MINE ON LOW TO HARD COOK. WONDERFUL DINNER WITH A SALAD!
I just dumped the whole can into a 12 inch electric skillet, cut up about half a small onion on it, let it fry a while then flipped over. Cooked till had a nice crusty top on it then put half of it on a plate. Made a great lunch. Not too greasy, not too strong a taste. I put half in the fridge and can reheat in my toaster oven for another time maybe with an egg. I like this very much and will buy again.
Great with fried egg on top.
I have eaten corned beef hash all my life but the roast beef hash is better- we love it. The price is a little high and I use a coupon if I have one. It is still good.
THERE ARE AT LEAST 2 SERVINGS IN THE CAN SO IT IS ECONOMICAL AND IT TASTES GREAT. I ADD A FEW ONIONS AND BLACK PEPPER AND IT'S A MEAL.
It's good, I'm just use to corn beef has I guess...This came in another package other then with the first, which contained all the rest of my order & the can was dented.A GAIN! Other then that it was good!
This is a very tasty hash. Daughter said it was awesome. Will buy more. While fixing it add a few eggs into it and you got a good meal.
