I use Hormel Bacon Crumbles in my jalapeno pepper egg rolls. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Hormel Crumbles and green onion; stuff into hollowed out jalapeno peppers, roll in egg roll wrappers, fry and HEAVEN! Family & friends beg me to make these for every get-together!
If I'm being honest I've went through 6 packages just trying to eat ONE SALAD. As it goes... A little spinach, takes and eats a pinch of bacon, a little diced chicken on top, eats one more pinch, a few diced tomatoes, eats another pinch, some shredded cheese and now to add a sprinkle of bacon AND ITS EMPTY AGAIN. Maybe one day ill make it to trying it on my salad but the bacon bits are good thanks Hormel.
I use Hormel bacon pieces on my salads as well as my fully loaded potatoes... They have a real Bacon flavor and it easier to use these pieces then cooking real bacon because they taste the same and I wouldn't change a thing because they are awesome!!!
Oh my goodness m! It's like a staple in our house! We love bacon period! We sprinkle Hormel Bacon bits on our salad, over eggs, on our cheesy grits, cauliflower rice....endless possibilities! Don't limit yourself with Hormel Bacon bits think outside of the box...add Hormel bacon bits!
I use the bacon toppings in just about everything, but my favorite is on salads to give them the extra crunch and flavor. I also love to use them to upgrade vegetables like green beans and baked beans. They add the additional boost of great flavor.
The bacon bits taste fresh and very very little fat. I throw them in scrabble eggs, omelets, mac and cheese and on my fresh salads, etc. This is a product to buy again and again. I feel I actually eat less of bacon by buying the bits but receive the same savory, salty crunch that is hugely satisfying. Hormel Real Bacon Bits are a fantastic way to reduce salt intake. They give my dishes additional flavor and I don't need to add any additional table salt.
These bacon pieces are so good! Not only did I use them on baked potatoes, but I ended up making mini quiches and a breakfast casserole with them. They saved me a TON on time since I didn't have to cook bacon and crumble it myself. The would probably be really yummy in a cheese dip. I will definitely buy them again.
I love Hormel Real Bacon Bits, they make my life so much easier! I make a pasta salad that everyone loves, but it requires bacon. One day I was making it in a crunch and didn't have time to cook bacon, so I grabbed a jar of Hormel Real Bacon Bits and threw those in instead. Perfection! Now it's all I use for making my signature dishes!
This is a very tasty and convenient product. No mess of frying bacon-- cleaning grease splatters-pan and utensils. I use a variety of pre cooked bacon products and I like these larger pieces for tossing into scrambled eggs and salads. The bits are good in deviled eggs, salads, baked potatoes-- many uses. Moderate fat content-- but less than I would get if I fried bacon and then put the eggs into the grease to cook. A bit expensive but SO MUCH better than the soy fake bacon chemical products on the market.
