My brother who is an IT professional helped me choose this computer because of it's operating properties. I like it because it's thin and light weight as well as operates quickly.
This is a really solid mid-range computer for general use. I like that it doesn't really have any of model line branding like "Inspiron" on it. The assembly is excellent compared to competitors, though I've always felt that HP puts a little more care into the overall feel of it's machines. Great screen and keyboard and good overall performance. I really like how quickly HP got us this machine, though. It was at our house in three days.
Runs faster than expected, easy to transfer files from old computer, easy set up. So glad we went with HP. Highly recommend for every day use.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use this computer very long as the USB drive wasn't working. I returned this laptop and because this model was not in stock at the time, I opted for another model (15-dy2097nr) which I am happy with. The exchange went smoothly and quickly.
