[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Envy 7995e does print scan and copy and I can print documents as well as photos in different sizes, and photos 4x6 can print on both sides. I can print photos from my phone, pc, laptop either stored or from my social media. I like it does have a document feeder and I can scan different documents at the same time. The resolution is 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi in black and in color is 4800 x 1200 so it is plenty to have at home. By activating the HP+ Smart Printing system you get 6 months of instant ink and other features. One of the modern things this printer can do is mobile multitasking, using the HP Smart app to multitasking print, scan, copy from any device. It does have a very nice looking control panel and the buttons appear when needed. The printer can be connected via wired and best of all via Wi-Fi and either way I can print anywhere I am while using the HP Smart App. I am happy to know that this printer is made of over 45% recycled plastic. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right from ordering and getting this printer, the process has been really smooth! The package was nicely done. There was a lot of materials for packing inside the box so that the printer does not get damaged. . This printer is setup by the app. I found the app took a bit to detect my printer and then took about 20 min for the whole setup to be finished. It included the software version update so that is acceptable. After the setup is done i had to sign up for the ink supplies and subscription. Also it had other functions like print from clouds and anywhere remotely from your house. I LOVE THIS FEATURE. Printing a picture and document right from your phone. The application also includes edit feature. You can edit your picture and document before you print as well. The design is sleek and simple. The touch screen is also very easy to operate. I love the fact that it has multiple compartments for regular paper vs photo papers. It makes it easy. I would definitely recommend this printer to my friends and family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far a great printer. The packaging it came in made sure the printer did not get damaged. Came with instructions, printer, ink and power cable. Set up was extremely easy and straightforward using the mobile app (HP smart) on a phone. Easy to get all network devices set up. Testing via wifi to print and scan is extremely simple as well. Able to use the app or right from a browser to print documents and information. Scanning I used the app to crop, rotate the image etc (the auto feature can do most of it). The copy feature is simple. I used the touch screen from the printer to complete. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.
HP 7955e meets my needs. It prints fast and automatic double sided. The photo tray is a must for me and the quality of the photos is excellent. My only complaint is the size. It's really large.

I have utilized HP products for well over 30+ years, Desktops, notebooks, scanners, printers etc. I work with legacy electronics and needed a new Multi function printer scanner, that was capable for Windows 10 and actually back to Windows 7 Pro. Although officially Windows 7 is not supported, understandably, this All in One was operationally listed as Windows 7 compatible. In good faith, I ordered this machine, the buying process was excellent, the delivery was faster than I expected, and arrived days before it was listed. Packaged very nicely, new methods to extract from the shipping box, and well protected by excellent packaging. I carefully had perused the HP site to download the software needed, did not elect to go with any Cloud features, and desired only to USB connect to the new PC I had built with solid state drives for specific legacy and current usage. Perhaps given my experience, the path I selected and the installation I followed was a great success. It even matched with my very favorite electronic file cabinet software Paperport, which I have had for almost 30 years in various versions. The scanning, the printing have been flawless up to this point, and I am extremely pleased with this 7955e. Multi page document feeder does not 'dual feed' pages, as was the experience in the past with some multi-function machines. I like the fact that the print heads are built into the ink cartridges, such as with my original HP 722, yet as the years progressed, newer units with separate print heads had problems with feed tubes drying up and clogging. You get new print heads with each new black and white or color cartridge with this 7955e. How long they last naturally depends on how frugal you are with printed materials. It would be nice to get software in the box, and a bit more documentation (as in the past), although, if you know where to go, you can download the manuals with more detail, for those of us that having it would make a difference. Even though I have an HP login, it was a bit frustrating when the site blocked me when it sensed that I had a Windows 7 operating system. Let me make my own choices in situations like that. I do have Windows 10 Pro Machines, so it is not as if I am being cheap, and I have all security applications that are keeping Windows 7 Pro safe with what I do. I am considering buying a second HP Envy 7955e. Let those of us that have bought your products for years and years, to not be thrown to the wayside, just to steer us in a programmed direction. We want your products, and if it will work with what we have, allow us to use it. I deal in electronic security and have legacy systems out there that need earlier versions of Windows such as 7 Pro. Support those of us that have supported and believed in your products for years and years. Not everyone wants to be on the cloud, some of us still like to hold our cards closely.
So far the printer does what it supposed to do. The setup was simple using the app on your mobile phone. Scan feature is nice paired with the auto doc feeder.
I replaced my old black printer with this one, functionally this printer is fantastic (love instant ink service) but the off white dirty gray color makes me glad I put it in the garage
The colored printing isn't all that. It is printed in pink. However, with the price is, I guess that what you get. The black and white is beautiful. If I knew this was the result, I would have opted for a black-and-white printer for a cheaper price.
