I am so glad that I purchased this flat iron for my daughter. She has naturally curly hair and plays sports. She needed a good flat iron that could keep her hair straight. I finally found the one for her. Thank you HSI! My daughter thanks you as well!
I've never had such bone straight hair in auch ahort time. And im not just saying this for the mini glider, but this products quality is so good that my hair is bone straight rather than still frizzy like my other bunk hair straightners. Thank you so much.
This product does very well for fine hair.
I have owned a bunch of different brands of flat irons (including, Paul Mitchell, Sultra, Andis, Remington and who knows what else) and I must say this is hands down the best one I have ever owned. It left my hair feeling very smooth and shiny. Unlike many others, it didn't pull my hair at all. I love that it comes with a little thermal glove to wear when using because I can't even count how many times I have burnt myself while flat ironing my hair. It also comes with a cute red bag for storage/traveling. I didnt receive the free argan oil like it stated on the box, which I was hoping to try but that is such a minor thing. I love the length of the cord, I have owned others that would come unplugged while doing the back of my hair, this one has plenty of slack. It also comes with a 1 year Warranty from HSI, so don't forget to register your product...which I'm going to go do right now. If you don't buy this flat iron you're going to regret it! ;-)
I've used this for some time now and it is the best flat iron I've ever had. I have been trying to find a flat iron that would help my thick and frizzy hair. I invested in other flat irons which were more expensive and none came close to the quality and how great my hair looked after I used this iron. Highly recomended!!
For years, I had a hard time finding a flat iron that would straighten my thick, naturally curly and coarse biracial hair. Before buying this HSI, the only product that straightened my unruly hair was a Maxiglide steam iron that finally gave out after 5+ yrs. I didn't use the argan oil sample that came with the iron, but I did use ORS HAIRepair silkening serum that I already had. Makes me wonder if the argan would've achieved a straighter style .. ?? Anywho, this flat iron worked beautifully, although I did have to use a comb on some parts as the iron went through. I ended up curling the ends some, which is why the style isn't "bone straight". All in all, I got the result I wanted, and I'm glad I made the purchase. Everything you see is what came in the box. The "pouch" is nice n silky. The glove is a lil big, but I also have little hands ;). The quality of the iron can rival with the more expensive brands, and is not heavy in your hand. It was the best $40 (including tax) I ever spent!
I have naturally thick, wavy/curly hair that is not color treated. I like to straighten it out, but sometimes, it’s just too much of a hassle, so I just put it up in a bun or in a braid. Thankfully, I was able to test out the HSI Glider Ceramic Flat Iron, and my hair-straightening journey was much smoother than my previous experience with flat irons or blow dryers. It usually takes me about an hour or more to straighten my hair, but it only took me 30 minutes with this. I love that it comes with a glove that protects my hands from the heat, since I do like to touch my hair while I straighten it. The Argan oil leave-in treatment made my hair feel even better. It was silky, shiny and smooth. I also used the Argan Oil Heat Protectant for Hair to give my hair some protection from the heat. The results were fabulous. Check out the pics.
OMG I just received my new HSI Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron Hair Straightener 1' plate from Walmart it was only $49.99. Based on the price I was not sure of what quality this flat iron would be , but I read many of the reviews and they were all so favorable I decided to give it a try. Well I can say that I had another flat iron which I wont say the name but the color on the plates started to flake off and my ends of my hair were frizzy. I thought it was just back products being used on my hair. I used the same shampoo and conditioner and I used the Argan oil that HSI supplied and I can't tell how big of a difference I see in my hair. My hair has movement it shiny and very manageable. This flat iron is so wonderful not only did HSI give a sample of their Argan oil the supplied a heat resistant glove and a sleeve for you to store the flat iron I was very impressed. I am going to try some of their other products. I am an African American woman with 4b-c texture i used the iron with heat of 370 degrees and it did well. Walmart has stepped up their online ordering and delivery process kudos to Walmart.
One of my daughter's spent $100 on a CHI. Then my other daughter needed a straightener. There was no way I was spending $100 on a straightener. I bought this for her and we've tried them both side by side and it is every bit as good as the CHI for straightening. My girls have very curly hair. We've had this for over a year and the plates don't get all gunky and sticky like some others do.
I bought this iron because I was looking for a 1" iron that add shine to my hair and doesn't damage it. It works really good on my hair as it is what I expected. The price is low and the quality is high. I recommend it
