Excellent
more rugged, thicker walled pole\neasy to extend and lock in place
Pool pole cannot withstand much pressure while skimming in deep side.
The 'clever' clamping system that is supposed to hold the sections securely failed after only 2 - 3 weeks. Pole comes apart during use. Save your time and money, buy something else. Thank goodness for the return policy at WalMart. This baby is headed back there.
I reiterate what the other reviewer said about the clamping feature. I bought this rather pricey pole at the end of last season. Honestly, it was the last one left and unpackaged and I think someone returned it and they just stuck it back on the shelf. It would be great if their clamp system worked properly. For me the top clamp worked fine, but the main clamp would not hold the pole in place when extended. HTH? Why else would you buy it and pay that kind of money? I finally got disgusted enough and irritated enough with it sliding up and down while trying to brush or vacuum, so I took it back and got store credit even though no receipt. Bought a different brand called CABANA for $30, 16 feet fully extended and similar clamping system that seems to lock into place the way it is supposed to. I will find out. If not, it will go back too and I'll go back to the cheaper version that tightens with a twist.
Locking clips do not hold causing the pole to collapse while using. Very poor design.
Although the concept is nice the "locking system" does not work. The sections keep sliding. The portion that is supposed to be "glued" into position came apart so that I can't even use the pole at its shortest length. The picture views the sections that are NOT supposed to move.
