I was very pleased with this ceiling fan purchase. It was packaged well and even had spare parts. The mounting design was improved that made installation a snap. It has a very nice appearance with high quality materials and workmanship. Finally, it is very quiet and I like the remote control feature.
We took out our old standard ceiling fan with light that had the pull chains on the side, and replaced it with the new 52 inch Bennett low profile ceiling fan by Hunterfan. I absolutely love having the option of dimmable lights and changing fan speed with the touch of a button with the included remote control. This fan is super quite with a pleasant amount of wind speed. It adds beauty to any living space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love the fan. It looks great, and the install was very easy. After not installing a fan in years, I'm amazed at how small and light the motors are these days. The only issue I see is that the supplied single LED light isn't as bright as I hoped, even with the dimmer on full illumination.
Just installed my Fan, and use the weights to balance it, but still a little wobble on the middle speed, the low speed and the high speed no wobble, but could not get the 2nd speed smooth, but over all, happy with the Fan. I had other Fans, but Hunter makes the quietest Fans that i have installed. Have six Fans in my home, and so far have replaced four of them with Hunter, hope to get the last two replace in the future. In one of my pictures you will see one of my old Fans, with lights at the top and hanging under, I would like to see Hunter make a fan like this one, very beautiful, but makes a little noise when running, hope Hunter will come out with a model close to this one, love the ducks and flowers on the globe. Hunter's Fans, are the best. Thanks Herbert
Great fan. Very quiet. Light is dim. The controller doesn't match the fan color.
You can noticeably see the seams in the glass around the light. This casts rays of bright light in certain areas of the room making the lighting not even throughout. Everything else is great!
After being up a couple of days, I can hear shaking or vibration.
Fan hums. Not happy with fan. We have 3 other that dont hum. All on same electric feed
The nickel base and grey blades look really good. That's the positive. The remote is a cheap piece of junk. It would be so simple with a couple more buttons, but instead it relies on combinations of short and long presses for what should be simple fuctions. The light isn't truly dimmable. It cycles up and down through 6 preset brightness settings by holding down a single button on the remote. It always goes brighter first, so if you want it dimmer, you have to first go up to the brightest setting. The Edison style bulb looks stupid. When turned off, the visible element is bright orange and clashes with the rest of the fan. I'm going to replace it with a soft white LED bulb, probably non-dimmable, since the dimming doesn't really work anyway. If it had real dimming, I would probably give it 4 stars.
I am currently installing this fan and writing out of frustration. This thing is a piece of garbage. I installed everything up to the light. When it came to light install I locked the connector and tried to turn the metal bracket to lock in place. It wouldn't go. The instructions says turn clockwise. I tried both directions. The internal parts slipped so I disassembled it and fixed bent brackets that lock motor in place. I bent them back and assembled everything again up to the light. Still it wouldn't click lock in place no matter which direction I turn it. I finally took apart apart the light up to that bracket and tried to take the long approach. It still wouldn't lock. I run my business and have never had that issue before. This model is pure trash.
