My husband installed this gem of an outdoor ceiling fan for Fathers day. Needless to say it was a huge hit at our house. It made the patio that much more enjoyable. We will be buying a 2nd for our summer home as well as other fans for inside. The amount of air this moved is outstanding.
Fan was satisfactory in quality and ease of install as I have come to expect from Hunter Fans I have installed many of over 35 years. Works well looks great!
Beautiful fan/light for the porch at the beach! The light really makes it perfect for the nautical flair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This an is a good size to move lots of air while sitting outside. I like that it has a remote, that makes changing the speed and direction very easy. Being able to reverse the direction is also nice, it helps to keep smoke up and out of my face when my husband is smoking. The blades are pretty and I am able to clean them with no issues. The light fixtures is very sharp and pretty. It provides plenty of light and I love that it is dimmable. It's outside and hope that it holds up for years to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed it this weekend, and I just love it!!! With LED lights the room is so much brighter and then after awhile it dems just a bit. One of my favorite part other than the style of it. The REMOTE! We have high ceiling & always having to step on something to turn lights on. This fan came with a remote to turn on/off fan & light plus turn up or down the fan speed. It took us about an hour or so to install but that's because first time with this type of ceiling fan. If you have high ceiling & need a good fan this is the One! Note that if you have high ceiling to lower ceiling fan you will need the extended rod, I used one we already have. You can purchase one through Hunter website. Remote speed & light button. It comes with a remote holder that you can attach to wall so not to loose. I REALLY REALLY love my new ceiling fan. Our living room stays so much cooler, especially in this Texas heat.
I absolutely love these fans! They have remotes to operate fan speed and a dimmer switch for lighting!! I bought two for my front room I just updated.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently renovated our back porch and decided it would be a great idea to add a ceiling fan to it. This fan was very easy to install. My husband didn't have an issues putting it up. The lights were perfect to add some light on the porch as well when entertaining in the evening. The remote is also a wonderful feature! No more pull strings! Would purchase again.
Very quiet fan, with great support. Was just what I was looking for
Fairly easy to install. Good schematics for wiring with the remote control which mounted nicely on the trim outside of each of three sliding glass doors. I like the fact that there are no longer chains dangling. The dimmable lights work well and the 3 fans produce good outdoor comfort in our 300 square-foot lanai.
This is an attractive, well made product. It was much easier to install than the previous fan hanging from my 13 foot ceiling. However, the washers used to attach the iron to the blade are smaller than the diagram in the instructions. The result is they partially fall into the holes in the blade which crushes the blade material adjacent to the hole. When I called customer support they seemed to agree the washers were too small and sent me replacement blades for the damaged blades as well as, what they said, would be larger washers. The washers sent were the same size as the originals. I went to the local hardware store and purchased washers that were the size depicted in the instruction sheet to properly attach the iron to the blade.
