I bought the i-Sing for my 14yr old. She loves it and has been taking it everywhere she goes. She said she likes it better than her iPod.
I was pleased with the product, my husband downloaded the songs that my daughter knew, so she could sing with the music in the microphone. Very pleased with the price that i paid
We bought this for our daughters birthday and got it on clearance also for $17.00. She has always wanted a MP3 but we were not willing to pay the price for it. This is very easy to use and download music. You have to add the lyrics yourself with the program that is included but it has great sound. The microphone quality is not great but good enough that my daughter can hear her self. One great feature is the volume has one setting this way the chilc wont risk blowing out an eardrum or driving us crazy with loudness. She absolutely loves it and its very easy to use.
I purchased these for our children so they could each have a personal music player in the van. There were no problems with charging, uploading or playing music. These were not purchased to be used a karaoke players in our house (that would drive me insane) so I don't have an opinion on that feature. Great for even the little ones - my youngest is 5 and can work his well. With regards to cost, we got ours on clearance for significantly less than retail. $120 seems pretty steep for what it is, but the price we paid was a great deal.
OK, I see that I am certainly the odd duck out but I love it! I was tipped off to the i-Sing by a coworker. I picked one up two days ago at a local Walmart store on clearance for $17 (coworker got one for $10). Anyway, I got it for my 6 year old daughter. She wants to be like her cousin who has an iPod, an expense I could not justify. I will admit the karaoke part may not be so great but I bought it to use as an MP3 player for a 6 year old. Great sound, plenty of storage and you can add additonal storage with a memory card. Easy to load music, clear, easy to read display that while it does not show lyrics unless typed in - it does show artist / song title.
It was not what I had expected. I have bought karaoke's from WakMart before and was completly satisfied. But, this karaoke was not very easy to understand(maybe my age) the instructions. I will not purchase any more like this. I will be sure I can operate first.
This item has good portability values. But, it has not been easy to use. If you are looking for a Karaoke machine, you should get a Karaoke machine. THis doesn't cut it. Purchased for 12 year old daughter
This was impossible to use. My 40 year old tech savvy son could not get it to work.
I was very disappointed in this product. I thought this would be similar to a MP3 player of downloading music. I thought the software had a specail way of having the lyrics come up on the screen. I didn't know that I was going to have to type in the lyrics. It was a totally waste of money.
The item never worked, after hours of troubleshooting with it. I tried it on several of my computers, with several different cables, and it wouldn't charge from USB, like it said it should. The "troubleshooting" pages in the manual are useless, and the website has no support area, either. So I returned it for a refund. I realize this was probably a one time deal, as others left positive remarks before I purchased mine; it just wasn't meant to be.
