It's very small size , for single person is good but not for family
I bought these for my sister for Christmas but gave them to her earlier...she absolutely loved them! She has already used one to cook white rice in and it came out perfect! I would definitely recommend these to all who love to cook!
they stack neatly in cupboard, have a nice simple design and very lightweight. they were in perfect condition, but did have some sharp edges. I used some fine grain sandpaper and lighrly went over the - now they're smooth. it only took 10 min tops to do all 3 pcs and the lids. rhey have a cool retro look that I really like.
Best for your money. I needed these because I had a large family size and now we only need that one for holidays. Rice and stews are perfectly cooked.
For the longest I hated making rice and beans because the pots I had were the worst and would burn the rice and not cook correctly...So outta desperation I decided to order these online since I knew the issue was that I needed good pots. They work amazing! I've seen other calderos that cost like $23-25 just for one pot so this was the best deal. In hispanic families calderos are a must to have and I finally bought my own set which was wel worth the shipping wait (probably a lil over a week)...only con I can say is that 1 of the nobs came slightly loose but its easy to fix by tightening with a screw driver.
Have not used as they were just received 07/02/21. Came with scratches, the lids have very rough edges, nicks and a white chalky film on the pots. Would have done better purchasing at the Latino store. Was unable to submit picture of the lid uneven surface.
Flimsy in quality ...not the same as the set I purchased while on vacation in the Virgin Islands ....BUT it gets the job done! I would recommend short term
I purchased these to improve my rice making skills. Off first impression the pots are light weight, rough %26 all lids don't have a tight fit. I know traditionally these pots should be heavier, and made more professionally. Second impression, after using my rice did turn out amazing so I will keep the pots because it still does its job. As stated above some of the lids don't fit correctly so I placed a piece of aluminum foil then put the lid on, I've only used it once so I can't compare on how it cooks without the foil method.
One use of the pot set and it turn a rust looking color. I am afraid to cook out of it.
This order was expected to arrive on 28NOV23. However, I received the order a day early in a bag. I opened that bag and everything looked fine until I took a closer inspection of the items I received. When I inspected the lids, I found that the medium lid was bet so bad that it wouldnt even fit on the pot or even set in correctly.
