i just brought this tablet for my grand child and i am loving it its just right for her plus i enjoy playing with it my self and i think this is a great learning tool for kids to teach them about math reading thanks vtech

my 2 1/2 year old doesn't play with it. she still plays on our tablet or phone. we can get free apps on our phone and tablet. you have to pay for the apps on this.
I purchased this for my 7 year old daughter after checking 10 other "kids" tablets. It had good reviews on most websites and appeared to have better features. Initial setup took 4 hours and requires you to have a PC to hook up for setup and downloads. Kid connect was the best feature but only allows basic text messaging and requires a monthly subscription for better features. The rechargeable batteries lasted less than 2 hours on a full charge, and it must be turned off to charge the batteries via the ac adapter. web sites must be entered and approved by a parent first which was time consuming and then my child received error messages every time she tried to visit a website.The parental controls were not as good as they were presented to be the better feature is the ability to set time limits on internet use but not on overall tablet run time. I returned and purchased a nook hd for less money and better features it allows a child account and parental controls. The innotab 3s was a waste of time and money it would be better suited for children up to 5 or 6 years as it did not hold the interest of my 7 year old. I only gave this product 1 star because 0 stars was not an option
