[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way it tastes with and without the sauce. There's somewhat of a crunch to the chicken. It's not spicy though. Its a nice balance between sweet and savory. I tried it by itself and will pair it with white rice.

But after cooking it and putting the sauce on, I realized that it was more than I thought. The sauce was a bit more spicy than expected, but with the rice it was perfect. I like spice, but not burning hot. The chicken was perfectly crispy and seemed like it was freshly fried. Anyway, it turned out really good. It wouldn't feed a family of 4, but it was good for at least 2 servings. I would buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a quick meal if you are pressed for time or just do not want to be stuck in the kitchen all evening cooking. I'm tired sometimes and just don't have it in me to cook homemade meals all the time. It's not the best but it will do.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't eat gluten, but I purchased this for my husband to eat on a night I was too lazy/tired to make a full family dinner. He was excited for this, figured he could even share it with our daughter, since the package said it was 18 oz of food. But upon opening the package you could see that at least 1/3 of that weight was sauce, so it's definitely a small single serving of food. He air fried the approx 10-12 oz of chicken and cooked up some rice noodles to eat it with. He poured all the sauce in, and with the chicken and the noodles, it was far too much sauce. Innovasion innovated a way to dupe the customer into thinking they were going to get a good value for their money, by providing excess sauce and not enough meat. $6 seems like a lot for what you get (it should at least include some rice), and that's the cheapest price you can find this product. It's more expensive at Kroger. He said the flavor was just so-so, very vinegary. He did like the amount of kick it had, but overall he doesn't think he'd like for me to buy it again.
I used to enjoy these meals by Innovasian, but the quality has taken a MAJOR dive over the past year! The flavor has remained consistently good, but what happened to the MEAT. First it was the unchewable gristle that started as only one piece ber box. Now that number has increased to AT LEAST 2 or 3 per box. Tonight, however, the latest and LAST box I will purchase had close to HALF what these meals used to contain. (see photo) Funny how the price hasn't decreased at all over time!

Thick breading.. tastes not fresh, waaaay too much sauce, way toooo sweet not spicy at all , is no other flavor. Waste of money, we'll maybe this was made for children …. Just go to the chicken nugget section and get a bag of decent chicken nuggets and then go to the Asian section and get the general tso sauce and make it better.
I don't ever go out of my way to write a review. I typically don't have time for that but for this I had to make an exception. I've been disappointed with things but never disgusted. I can and will eat pretty much anything. This was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten and wouldn't even let my kids try it. After the first bite I nearly gagged. I followed the directions perfectly also. In my forty some odd years of life this is the only thing that I have thrown in the trash without eating. I've eaten cold MREs full of dirt and crap when I wasn't even that hungry. I've eaten T Rats made with tuna fish and scrambled eggs and they weren't nearly this bad. I wish I could give this atrocity negative five stars. The absolute worst trash I've ever shoveled into my mouth. Don't waste your money!
First of all, the box has more air than chicken. Secondly, some of the chicken looks like it was cut with a cowboy's dirty spurs before being chucked in the box. Hopefully I have finally learned my lesson.
