This works most of the time. The times it hasn't worked was when I was overly stressed or I had napped too much earlier. Upon my recommendation, a friend purchased one and, without my telling her when it doesn't work for me, confirmed the exact same times it hasn't worked for her!
I've been having trouble sleeping at night because I have a spinal cord injury and I have very server low iron that makes me to be unable to sleep and this wrist band has helped me sleep and the carpal tunnel in my hands I don't have any pain in my hands while I sleep
I was skeptical, but also a long-suffering insomniac, so I ordered this when it was on sale, out of desperation. Well, it worked the first night and, when, after 5 months of almost daily use, it still<br />worked, I ordered another one for back-up or to use on the other wrist on a night when the insomnia is bad<br />as I wean myself off Restoril (temazepam).
They help my vertigo and motion sickness. Very good.
Amazing that this thing works. I wish they had smoother edges on the velcro but it has helped me sleep.<br />Also wuuld like better directions for finding the pressure points.
In the few short weeks I've used the "Sleep Band", I can say it's comfortable to wear, easy to apply and I haven't tossed and turned getting to sleep. If I have awakened, I've been able to fall back to sleep.
I have had problems sleeping for years because of Fibromyalgia; so I have gone through valerian, melatonin, other OTC's, Ambien, and Lunesta. Now it's Lyrica and temazepam. So, I'll try anything not to have to increase the temazepam dose, and saw this in a catalog; I ordered it not expecting it to work, BUT IT DOES!!!<br />some nights better than others, but always better than when I forget to put it on.
My mom uses the braslet every night. She was on sleep medications for decade and now she doesn't use any.<br />I use it when I feel that I can't fall asleep or wake up during the night and can't fall asleep after that. I wear the braslet these times only, fall asleep very soon and wake by the alarm next morning. <br />The only con is the texture of the braslet is a little bit rough for my type of skin. But I don't wear it every night.
The armband works well in its lowest suggested position in helping me avoid insomnia. I am now trying out the position 3 fingers above the wrist, which seems harder to locate but working at least somewhat.
It doesn't work for me. I didn't like it.
