The vanilla icing goes so perfectly with the snack cake. Basically, it's an iced Twinkie. I find the Zinger to be more moist and it has a better flavor. Can be hard to find sometimes. The perfect small snack with a big taste.
A taste worthy of the title. Anything that can rock the boat like this little snack cake, deserves to be called a Zinger! I could never understand how people got fat eating Twinkies;(just not my thing) but these cakes are so moist with a wonderful vanilla flavor, and a thin layer of perfected frosting, one bite and you could easily eat half the box. Oh Oh Oh... so good! Definitely 5 Stars.
Just tried the "new" Hostess Zingers . They are significantly smaller than they used to be. Price is higher than it used to be. Still have the same great flavor. Oh well, just getting less for more.
