My son-in-love has one that he used to play Halloween music, as the children came by for trick or treating. I loved the sound quality, and the look. Just had to have one for my next family gathering. Purchased on special sale promotion at local Samsclub. Love, love, love it.
I purchased one of the exact same ION Audio Total PA Max about a year earlier to see how it worked and to see if it would work for me and a cousin if we decided to get back to getting a new band together. And in using the first system I bought we decided to get a second one along with an additional equipment to help in the sound for performing in local bars. Still working on getting together for practice and seeing if any additional equipment will be needed. But the ION’s are a great step to getting to what we are planning to do. Even doing DJ gigs when asked.
I use this item to blue tooth music. I find songs that I want to learn on guitar, then using this speaker (500 watts), I play along with the song on my electric guitar and 15 watt amp !!! Plenty of power so my playing does not overpower the speaker.
I bought 4 of these for an outside theatre. Sounds great. Bass not comp To a dedicated subwoofer but not bad. Kids love watching the movies outside and these speakers make it sound great. Also I’m a contractor and have used these in jobsite. Surprizingly durable. They were knocked over few times and no damage. Last the speaker has extension handle n wheels. So theyre easy to move. Right like your luggage bags. Recommend highly
I bought the Ion Total PA Max amplifier to use at a Retreat of about 55 woman. I used a mic with 2 mic cables connected serially for the extra length I needed that I purchased elsewhere. But everything else needed came in the box with the amp. The amp is very powerful and with no distortion. I used the Bluetooth connection and mic connection, both worked seamlessly. I received many compliments on the power and sound of the amp. I would highly recommend this amp with no reservations! even at full price it is well worth the cost (but currently it is on sale).
I'm very happy with the sound, size and output. Good buy. I would like it better and rate it 5-Star, if you could link two together for stereo sound.
I'm an independent media producer with many years experience and a lot of existing PA gear. The discounted price point of this item caught my attention as I was shopping for new powered speakers for my kit. Tested a unit and found sound was decent, so I ended buying 3 of them: a pair for myself and one for a non profit group I work with. Easy BlueTooth connectivity and the built in rollers & handle were nice features. Mic and speaker stand inclusion added to the value -- the mic quality is fair, though the speaker stand is short, cheaply constructed and a critical tightening knob broke at first use on one of the units (was fixed with epoxy). All three units arrived with dead battery's in the remote controller and FM tuning was difficult at best. Despite shortcomings in "extras", comparable powered speakers at $200 price point would be very difficult to find.
Got this item on sale, ended up buying 2 and they do sync together which is great. I use them in the house, at school for events, and also for outdoor parties. The mic is a great tool as well. The colors are super cool too. Great buy. Include remote and stand is sturdy.
One of my speakers had a crack on right side. And the box was damaged.
