We live in a small place and we smoke. I wanted something to clean the air. This realy does the trick. I can watch it pull little bit's of fuss that float's around right into the ionic air. We did notice an oder for all of a minute, but it goes away realy quick. I am very glad I bought this product. Best bang for your buck!!!
We had evacuated from hurricane Ike, without thinking, we left the refridgerator full of food. We were gone a week and the power came on 2 days before we were able to get home. Our house stunk to high heaven. We tried Oust, fabreeze and all sorts of things to try to get rid of the nasty rotten food smell. Nothing was working. I was looking through walmart online and seen the little ionic pro and figured hey why not. So we got it and plugged it in in the kitchen and walked away. Few hours later, we went in there and were able to breathe again. The smell was completely gone! My kids have even opened the fridge by accident (I hadn't duct taped it shut yet) and it would stink back up the kitchen, less than an hour later, the smell was gone again. This product is amazing and I have already started telling friends and family about it suggesting it to them.
It works well with small spaces like bathrooms or small kitchens
Have 2 cats and thought I would try this out and place it in the same room as the litter box (15x5 laundry room). Within 10 minutes, the odor from the litter box was gone! Even standing right next to the litter box I could not smell anything. I'm going to buy for other rooms in the house. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the higher priced units.
I already own a full size Ionic Pro air purifier and I love it. I was looking for the smaller, mini version of this and found it at Walmart. com. I wanted 2 units. One for my bathroom and one for a room where my cats lives and has her litter box in it. I am a smoker and I do smoke in these 2 rooms also. My full size unit works fantastic and eats up the smoke. So I wanted the same results in these other small rooms plus I wanted to keep these rooms smelling fresh. I plugged the new mini units in 2 week ago and they sure are working great. I cleaned all my purifies today and sure enough all 3 were very dirty. These purifies are awesome. Not only do they clean the air but also leave the rooms smelling great. Don't think about getting this product, get it. You will be happy for sure.
Great little product. Does real well in small spaces. I was pleasantly suprised. Very easy to clean. *******Before you buy, know that this product does NOT have a cord. It plugs directly into an outlet. It says not to use an extension cord, but I do use a heavy duty cord and place it on a table for maximum efficiency.******
this is a great product, that cleans the air, in a small area, like a bathroom or small room. it is easy to clean and cannot be heard at all. The light isn't that bright, but its main function is to clean and freshen the air, which it does great, you can see this every time you clean the filter, every 4 or 5 days or so. There is an internal fuse that blows after a while and the whole unit must be replaced, but overall, a great product.
I bought this purifier because my son suffers from seasonal allergies and honestly, I cant afford the high end ones. I guess I missed the part where it says its a plug in, I thought it was going to be on top of a table etc but it still works well. Its quiet and seems to be doing a good job. I have it in his bedroom which is definately bigger than a pantry or a closet its recommended for ( its about 9 ft x 11 ft room) I have cleaned it twice ( once every 4-5 days) and the blade-things inside have been pretty dirty but not to the max so its picking out decent amount of stuff from the air. I also didnt want to wait the recommended 24 h after cleaning the unit to turn it back on so I just use a wet cloth and sopping wet q-tips to wipe the blades clean and avoid the ends, dry it off and plug it back in. Has been working just fine. lol And it only takes a minute, the area that needs cleaning is very small. I think at somepoint I have to clean the whole thing but I dont see the need for it every time. It doesnt get that dirty.
After having this product only 2 short months, it stopped working. I have emailed the company several times with no luck. Worked well, WHEN it worked.
I was very disappointed in this product. It was purchased for my very small bathroom and whatever it uses to clean the air left an unbearable odor rather than disapate any offending odors.
