I finally got my 1st Ipod! YAY!!! I got this product to use during my workouts, but I just spent 3 days on the road moving and I have the option to plug into my car stereo. What a great idea this was, all my favorite music with no talk!!! Great product, would highly endorse this product!!
I have experience with the iPod nano, the touch, and the iphone. We wanted something simpler to play music at night in the kids room. This shuffle does the trick. I turn it on push play and it plays until the music ends. We got an alarm clock to play it through so now I have the additional option of letting it play all nigh because I put that much music on but also can set it to sleep mode and it will shut off in a certain amount of time. The shuffle is small, simple, holds a ton of music and comes with everything you need to download your music and go. My daughter is so excited! I ordered it online and had it shipped to the house for just a few dollars extra. It arrived in about 5 days.
I really love it. I love the size, I can clip it right to my collar. There's a button on it with voice over, so it tells me everything. (I don't have to find my glasses to read anything) And I love that I can use any earphones with it. I have a gen 3, I think, that is so tiny, it has no controls on it, so everything is on the earphones, so that means that if they go bad, I'll have to buy new earphones, and they're so expensive, I figured I may as well just get a whole new ipod! And I'm soooo glad I did! The sound quality is fantastic! And 2g holds a whoooole lotta songs!!!
I bought this for my husband as a gift, and so far he loves it. He wanted it for running, and he's tested it out and said it felt comfortable--not too cumbersome or bulky. It supposedly announces the artist and name if you push a button, but that hasn't worked for him. He thinks it's because his songs weren't purchased from iTunes, so maybe that's the problem. That's a pretty minor complaint, and otherwise he's totally satisfied. Walmart's price was also much lower than Amazon and other vendors.
Hook it to some good quality ear buds and go for a walk or kick back in a chair. You don't even know it's there but the sound is incredible. I highly recommend this product and you can load tons of songs on a 2 gb ipod....then erase and start over. Wonderful!!!
For being so compact, the Ipod holds a lot of music. Well worth the money. It's great for when you are working out and great for when you're on the road. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves music and doesn't want to lug around something that's big.
I encountered problems setting up my new Shuffle but I am delighted with Apple's customer service. Although the technician had every right to mock me because the error was 100% operator error (that's me), he was calm, courteous, helpful and very patient, and even stayed on the phone with me while I downloaded my first album.
I purchased this as a replacement for my 5-6 year old one that finally conked out. This is the perfect size for working out when you do not wish to carry a larger phone (or disturbed). Unlike other manufacturers, the clips is heavy duty and will stay in place and is super easy to control the volume or forward thru a song.
I was disappointed because I wasn't able to download anything on the shuffle and the Apple tech support promised a call back to resolve the problem and I never received a call back. The item itself looks good and is what I expected but it is not easy to use if you do not have the basic knowlegde of it because no steps for setup come with it.
I found that the software is quite hard to use and not intuitive like I thought an Apple product should be. The online documentation for ITunes leaves much to be desired. Yes this was inexpensive but didn't expect to have such a large learning curve. I've had it for a week and have yet to be able to copy a song to the device.
