I'm really happy with how well this has been for my daughter. She's able to work on her timing.
I got a drum set for my nephew, and he loved it, but his parents were not too happy because he was banging on it all day long. So I found this practice pad that teaches him to keep the beat and he can practice mostly on it, instead of the loud drum set.
This is a good way to practice skills.
