This is such a beautiful cutting board but not for every day use , It's so large you'd need a huge counter and even then I'd only take it out for special occasions. This is perfect for cutting meat and allowing the juice to drain but not for a house with small counters , it takes up a lot of room

This cutting board is made from non-endangered Acacia Wood. Since the board is 14” x 14” x 1.25” its a perfect size for chopping , slicing, and serving our beautiful appetizers. The Chef's Board is made with end grain construction making it strong and long lasting. We love the unique pattern of the wood because it makes for a gorgeous addition to our kitchen. Also, our knives don't have to be sharpened as often and knife marks are invisible. Your cutlery will glide across the board. When it's time to clean up, wash the Chef's Board with warm soapy water and dry immediately. DO NOT use scrub sponges; they will remove the top layer of natural color. DO NOT let it soak or wash in a dishwasher! Remember it is wood and can warp. This ironwood cutting board has to be the nicest wooden cutting board I've ever owned. The thickness of this is huge, the valleys in it to channel the juices down to the drip pan are monstrous. Quantify, craftsmanship and pride of product shine through in this price of art! Smooth and washes so easy. I've got a brisket on the smoker now just to break in the cutting board. Thank you ironwood for an AMAZING product!! You know it's a good product when you smoke a brisket and have a dinner party to show off a cutting board! Perfect gift for dads this Christmas!
This is a really nice cutting board. The wood is beautiful and it's super solidly built. I mean this thing is thick wood and it has great feet on the bottom. There are grooves on the carving side of the board. These grooves guide the meat juice to an area where it collects so you can dip the meat in it. My wife really loves this cutting board and she's looking to use it many years to come. This board looks great when you serve your roast or steak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe a good cutting board is a must. It's an item that gets used in my house almost on a daily basis. Not only do I use my cutting boards for cutting/food prep, but as serving pieces. This is a lovely looking board. For starters the coloring of the wood is beautiful. It has a mixture of darker and lighter areas. I don't store my boards away, they sit out for quick access and even though this board is large, it doesn't take up much room since I keep it vertical. I love how thick thick it is also. It feels sturdy and has been nice to cut on. Most boards are thinner and my cutting hand is always hitting the counter, but this larger prep board has some height and keeps my cutting motion fluid. The weight is a bit heavier then my other boards, but with this being a high quality board, I don't see this as a negative. This cutting board also has a nice liquid catching channel, it goes all around the board and is also on the opposite side! Most boards have it only on one side, but this board is etched on both. Whenever I cut larger meats like chicken, this will come in handy with the run off, and will make clean up so much easier. Besides using this for prep/cutting, I'll use it to serve food on. I did a meat and cheese board with it, it looked lovely on this board. I definitely will need to pick up the recommended food grade mineral oil for it, to keep it from drying out. This large cutting board is an item I'll be happy to recommend to friends and family!
This is a very beautiful board. I've never had one quite like this but it is exactly what my husband has been needing. We smoke a lot of meat and he's always making a mess when it comes time to cut it up. This carving board is the perfect solution plus it is really beautiful. However it requires attention to keep it beautiful. You cannot leave it in the sink or run it through the dishwasher. You need to condition or oil it when you first get it and ideally after each time you wash it. This is made of real wood so there are blemishes and textures here and there, if that is a problem for you then maybe look elsewhere. I am in love with it and I'm already planning to purchase one of their end grain cutting boards. I think the one thing that would have made this better would be if it didn't have the legs on bottom so you could cut on both sides. But the legs do keep it from sliding around. Highly recommend this if you have to carve lots of meat. Just be aware it is huge and will take up some serious real-estate in your kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The acacia wood has a beautiful grain giving this cutting board a high-end look and the 10.5"x15" size is perfect for small jobs or daily use so this cutting board has earned a permanent place on my countertop. The grooves along either side slant into the larger cavity to easily drain away any juices and the cavity is perfect for collecting scraps as you cut. It really cuts down on the mess and the large, deep channel makes it easy to empty into the trash without any drips or messes. The bottom does have rubber pads on the underside corners to keep it from slipping or damaging surfaces. The wood is easy to maintain with a simple wash, air dry, and occasional oiling as needed and I do like that the care instructions are underneath on the tag in case it's gifted.

It's the perfect size for my small kitchen, and it's so pretty!! The board is thick, durable, and it stays in place while I'm chopping up my veggies. I like that it has 4 round, rubber grips on the backside. When I first received it, I rinsed it with water and some light soap. I rubbed some olive oil on it, and the beauty came back out immediately. I don't have a lot of cabinet space in my kitchen, so I put it on top of my stove, and it fits in nicely. I know this is built to last, and I've needed one for a long time. I'm so very pleased this is mine!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cutting board is really thick and sturdy! It's made of Solid Acacia wood. The wood after a few hand washes is starting to fade and look dry. I love it has a large cavity to collect the chopped veggies to create space for more chopping. It also has 4 rubber pads on the bottom to prevent the board from sliding, while cutting.
