I'm very pleased with this product. It is not so sensitive that it opens when you walk by but always opens easily when needed. It has a ring to hold the bag. Only improvement would be if you could easily how the bag from showing on the outside workout wrapping it around the ring.
My husband wanted this and was going to get the more expensive option. I couldn't see spend a lot of money on a garbage can! This was a compromise we could both could agree on. The shipping was quick, arrived in pristine condition. It takes 4 D batteries, not sure how long that will last. We have had it a couple of weeks now, so far so good. As for the look, I love it, not such a conspicuous eyesore like the traditional garbage can.
I have had two other can like this in the past and both of the lids broke where they were attached and went up and down. This one looks like it is constructed better. The only problem I have is it was dented in the metal on the front. I was able to push the dent out some but you can still see a small indention. Other than that the can works great and is a nice addition to my kitchen.
I bought one for the kitchen and liked it so much I got another one for recycling. Good size.
Love this automated trash can, no hands getting dirty and even a lock so your pets can't get in while your away.

I like everything about it. Just concerned how easy it will dent, as my first one I received was dented. It was easy to return to the store. I purchased the power adapter as well. Fits normal trash bags and is easy to change. I would recommend.
Very good motion sensor trash can. I love the fact that you can add a filter and, the option for a plug in adaptor (when you're out of batteries). It's just the right size too. Love it.
After unpacking all the protective styrofoam, I took the trash can out of the box, only to find the side of it extremely dented. I had to return it to Walmart, & then reorder it online. It won't be available for pick-up until Aug. 29th. This is quite an inconvenience for me on many levels!!!
We were very excited we found this trash can. Unfortunately, after it was delivered, we didn't like it much. It looks cheap, and there was color inconsistencies (which might have been fixed with a SS spray cleaning). The scent packet in the trash was a very nice touch! The trash can opened when we wanted it too.
