Bought AC adapter as added accessory to main gift auto open lid iTouchless 13gal. trash can, believe will work great as advertised eleminating need for batteries. JR
The ability to use the plug instead of expensive batteries is a big PLUS. The only criticism is that the instructions should say the batteries have to be removed in order for the plug to work.
Excellent product, much more cost effective than buying and filling the landfill with batteries. My only complaint is the frame to hold a trash bag, wish it had an insert so if bag breaks the mess would be contained and easily washed. Fortunately I had an insert from pervious can that fit.
This is a great charger, works great it should come with trash can not extra. Glad I have it cheaper than replacing batteries.
great adapter for trash can ...works great...save money not buying batteries..very convenient..has long cord 2..
At first it didn't work but after a few tries at different plugs it seems to be working well. I would say it's better than having to purchase batteries.
I bought this adapter for my itouchless waste can and am pleased with the purchase overall. The only complaint I have is that the adapter prong does not lay flat against the can. I sticks out and prevents you from putting can flush against the wall and if you have light colored walls, as I do, it leaves black scuffs every time it rubs against the wall. It would have been better to design with a "flat" connector. Maybe you won't have this problem if you are able to place can at an angle in a corner.
I went to pick up this product opened the box while in the store, because I already purchased this adaptor from another store and it didn't work with the Itouchless garbage can, and it was a plain adaptor, not the one shown in this picture. The one I received has a fat plug as the base, as you can see the one in this picture has a skinny plug base. IF you are ordering it fir the Itouchless garbage can, do not waste your time!
This was advertised with the touch less trash can. I ordered the can and this adapter. It will not work with the model I ordered. Be careful when ordering!
